Wow, wow, wow…can’t wait to come back and try another dish! Everything on the menu sounded so good - it was hard to choose. Finally decided upon the Chicken Milanese which was the juiciest and most considerately breaded piece of chicken I’ve ever had. I know people may say, well, breaded fried chicken is just breaded fried chicken…but it’s not. When executed brilliantly a Milanese is a brilliant dish that can speak volumes. And here, it does. The house sangria offers a unique and VERY yummy take on the “traditional” watered down or winey flavored sangria you can find around town and leaves you feeling satisfied, relaxed, and ready for another. The service was attentive, knowledgeable, and on point - the management was just as attentive and CARED about your feedback and experience. Overall my family and I have PERSONALLY found our new favorite Mexican eatery. The food is straight up authentic, the atmosphere is comfortable, clean, and inviting, the service flowed seamlessly, the drinks were SOLID and mixed with thought,….and best part is, it didn’t break the bank. If you’re on the hunt for a Mexican restaurant that offers both a romantic date night experience and a “take the family once a week” type of familia vibe to it, Adelita's is the spot you’re looking for. I know I will definitely be back for the Grand Opening. My family and I have already decided on it as a regular must have in our lives lol. The food, drinks, and service is too good NOT to...
Read moreWe just tried out Adelitas and I think it’s our new spot! The drinks are really colorful and flavorful and reasonably priced. We got the Adelitas signature and it was was a sweet treat! As well as the pineapple m that was PERFECTLY SWEET. We got guacamole as an appetizer and I am the queen of guac in my circle and this passed the test. You can always tell a good Mexican restaurant by their chips and salsa and they were PERFECT! The chips kept me coming back for more. I got the volcano Hawaiian tacos for my entree. Wow wow wow! Definitely tasty and a great portion, I’ll be eating it for lunch tomorrow! My wife got the LA burrito to see if it stood the test for her since we are from California and she LOVED it! It was massive and she is also taking it to work for lunch tomorrow and already looking forward to it. We got the churros to go so we will see how that is but with the level of details to flavor and presentation and service I can’t imagine it would be anything less than perfect. The Mexican restaurant we’ve been dreaming of in Baldwin Park / Audobon / Colonial is HERE! Update: churros were FIRE. They came with a chocolate sauce and some type of frosting. Definitely coming back for...

My husband and I have been waiting for this place to open and we are so happy it's just a few minutes from our house. We are both from Southern California, and we felt right at home dining here.
We went before their grand opening, but even only being open for a few days, it was perfect. The chips and salsa were delicious and the margaritas were delightful. For a starter, we ordered the Pulpo Enamorado. It was so fresh and delicious. Fresh octopus with a creamy pico de gallo. For my entree, I got the Tacos el Governador. The shrimp were juicy and tender and the chipotle cream sauce was to die for. I would put it on everything. My husband ordered a Chile Relleno and a Birria Enchilada. Both were cooked to perfection. The Chile Relleno was simple but honored the flavors of the chile and the cheese. The enchilada was moist and tender.
We were tempted to order dessert, but we were both stuffed. We will be coming back with friends and family. I can't wait to try the L.A. Burrito. I love California burritos, so this is on my list. Do not skip over this place. It is...
