I had seen the ads but I needed to know if it was the real deal. Just because something sounds good on paper/TV doesnât mean it behaves the same in actuality. As an engineer, I really appreciate the concept of modular furniture so I needed to see every demonstration possible in store. Ian was able to do just that. I am a very tough customer in a sense that I ask way too many questions that can come across as badgering or being a pest. Ian maintained his composure and fought valiantly (very polite, no actual fighting) against my onslaught of questions bringing up every negative thing I had read online to see if this couch was right for me. In two separate visits I had spent close to three hours in a store thatâs about the size of my kitchen/living room combined. I had looked at every sample, feature, combination, accessory possible to make sure I knew what I was getting myself into. In the end I ended up doing a 6/8 configuration lovesoft, coastal brushed weave, ALL storage, with one deep seat (something that canât be bought at Costco). As a Floridian, most of us do not have basements like people do up north and so I really value the extra storage and recommend paying extra for it to anyone. I did an âLâ configuration with one floating ottoman. Itâs not three months later as I wrote this and I can confirm that I love this couch. One of the things I was super impressed by was not only the customer service in store (Ian), but also online. It felt like Amazon customer service which I always compare everyone to since I believe they are the best. I had a defective back piece that did not fit in the shoes and one deflated pillow. Lovesac didnât make me jump through hoops to prove their piece was defective. They took my word which I really appreciate. The new pieces shipped fast (since I did not do a custom order) and were perfectly fluffed/fit like a glove upon arrival. I hope this is truly the last couch I will ever have to buy. I have already washed all cushion covers (back and seat) and it was pretty easy to take on and off. Two things I recommend for pet owners are 3rd party cushion protectors which go underneath the Lovesac cover and are not visible and also a Chom Chom off of Amazon for pet hair. The covers help because while you can wash the fabric, if something soaks through, the inner pillow cannot be easily cleaned and does not have a zipper (stitched) where you can wash that casing as well. I knew the white coastal brushed weave would not be as pet friendly as the velvets or chenilles, but I really liked the color. Chom chom makes it super easy to clean pet hair and I was super surprised how well it works on brushed weave. I am young so I canât speak for people with back issues, but I felt that it was very comfortable. I noticed 0 difference between the new angled sides in store (after trying to lie to myself for hours) and so I opted for the normal side pieces since they aesthetically look better. I find it super simple to just angle the back cushion and then have a second seat connected in order to optimally lounge. I felt a lot of the accessories were overpriced so I opted to not get any, but they did seem useful. I already have a home theater 7.1 surround sound setup so I also did not look too hard at the stealth tech although the in store trial seemed neat. Overall I am very happy with my Lovesac Sactional, and recommend it to someone that has the extra money and is looking for a new couch. The price point definitely makes it not for...
Read moreMy review is a little late, but as promised I am finally writing my review because Valerie the store manager was just Amazing and we are soooo in LOVE with our LOVE SAC couch and built in surround sound! My husband and I came to the store on a Sunday afternoon and drove 2 hours to go in person and try the couch out. Living in Ocala this is our nearest store. We met Valerie there and although I came prepared and had done my homework she truly helped us and was just so knowledgeable and patient with me and the hubby lol. It had taken me so much convincing and bribing to get my husband to even consider this couch because lets be realistic itâs pricey, but you need to weigh all the pros and cons when you are buying a couch. We get there and Valerie builds us a mock set up and she completely understood what I was looking for and helped me pick out the ideal material and color that worked with my color scheme at home. My husband finally agreed to the couch and I told him to just sit and feel and tryout the surround sound there at the store and he absolutely loved it! I couldnât believe that I was getting my dream couch and surround sound too âşď¸ Valerie explained the difference between the deep seats and the long seats and that ultimately they are all interchangeable you just need to calculate your sides to determine how many you want deep. We bought 10 firm pieces at first and then called Valerie and we added another 2 pieces after we finished building our baby! It did take us (my girls and hubby) hours to build our couch, but itâs a labor of love to see what you put together and get to enjoy as a family â¤ď¸ you appreciate the couch so much more! We have a beautiful sectional of 8 pieces, 2 ottomans added storage to both ottomans and 1 additional storage under a regular seat, 4 cup holders and 2 trays. I even texted Valerie pictures of my home and the color scheme before I selected final color that she suggested. Our couch is just beautiful and we couldnât be happier. Customer service is also amazing!!! I did a text chat that my tray had a tiny scratch they sent me a new one and label to sent the damaged one back right away. The surround sound system is out of this world and our couch is just like laying on a cloud that you can rearrange over and over! We have had it now almost 4 months and couldnât be HAPPIER! I have already rearranged it several times 𤣠I just wish we would have bought it sooner! Thank you Valerie!!!
We went with: Sky Grey Corded Velvet (goes amazing with beige, natural tones and picks up all the colors in your surroundings) we have wood floors and a farm house country theme.
Sincerely, Laz...
Read moreWow, what a huge disappointment this was. The "gaming chairs" are some of the worst I've ever seen. You're better off buying from a PC focused store like NewEgg. $800+ for a crappy chair is nowhere near the cost.
The "Office Space" I was looking for was upstairs, first in the store (Section 4), and I was forced to walk through 27 other areas I had no interest in to leave. They trap you on purpose.
I gave +1 star for the employees being lovely and directing me to the exit through the maze that was built. It took 20 minutes to get out after spending 15 minutes testing what seemed like children's chairs. $800 for a featurless chair that you can barely adjust and can't lean in? No. Go look up Noble. That's worth the price, and for less.
The desks are wildly overpriced and essentially reduce the space of multiple displays and PCs, making it impossible to be a professional with their equipment. A desk that caps the number of displays and sizes that you have with vertical limitations? Go look elsewhere.
I'm an IT SysAdmin WFH, and I thought I'd check them out just cause. If you have a serious IT career, don't bother. This is wildly overpriced trash that you can replace for $350 or less elsewhere. The desks that sell for $800+ there can be bought elsewhere for half or less. If you're gonna spend that much on a desk, get a bigger one that is electronically made to be stand-up on demand and can...
