I was at the secret attic today. I was checking out at the counter when a homeless man came in. The homeless man did not have any shoes and his feet was bleeding. The lady at the front desk told him to leave because he didn't have shoes on. He tried to explain to her that someone stole his shoes and he wanted to buy some. The manager with the dark hair yelled at him and said no shoes then no service. I thought this place was for charity to help the homeless. The staff did not even offer to help him. So my daughter asked him his shoe size and bought him shoes. This is so disturbing to me that The Secret Attic only helps certain people and not everyone. It was ridiculous to humiliate this man that only wanted a pair of shoes that he was going to purchase. This is not the first time that I witnessed the staff being rude to customers. This man was a customer who unfortunately was down on his luck. He was not showed any compassion or offered any help. He came in there willing to pay for a pair of shoes and got yelled at. Unfortunately, The Secret Attic had showed their true colors and I will not be back!! Shame,...
Read moreI never write reviews but felt I needed to after the unpleasant experience here. I Go into store to look at used generator wife said was $ 170 the employees working there said that was a auction number not the price , Asked them what was the price she said the owner would sell it, She told me to make a offer so I did and she said we already have more offered, but would not give me a price I could buy it for, she wanted me to bid against my self, and still had to check with the owner to see if they would sell it. I left upset, Would not suggest this place of business . Was also told go find another one if I Could ?( with Hurricane Approaching) , would this be price gouging? I understand supply and demand, But Curious if the person who donated it was told their selling practices, I think they would have had second thoughts, The employees say that this store helps the people in need by the items they sell in the community, I guess they helped enough people in need...
