If I could give NO stars I would. The owner is a rude and NASTY man! I dropped a pearl bracelet off 2/27/2019. It was a vintage bracelet and a gift from my bf, it was three strands. It wasn't a typical bracelet so I knew it would probably be harder to fix. I asked if they could even do it when I dropped it off and they said "oh our lady is great she can do anything." I was like ok great. I was very adamant that it be made the exact way it was originally made. When I dropped it off it was only broken in one small spot by the clasp and a few pearls were off and in a box. So it was still very much 90% whole. I was told I would have it back 3/13/2019. Well that date went by and I didn't hear anything. I was sick with the flu the following week so I just thought maybe it's taking longer because the type of bracelet and I wasn't feeling good so I waited. After another week and a half I tried calling and it was always busy when I called. So i went online to look for another contact number and i found an email. I emailed them asking what was the status and that I had no heard from anyone yet on my bracelet. I get a call 3/25/2019 and am told the lady can't do it because the string is too big for the pearls, which to me seemed like a silly reason as you just buy another size! She then told me the bracelet wasn't touched and was how I dropped it off. I was asked if I wanted it made into anything else and I said no. If I wanted anything else I would have asked for that when I dropped it off! I go pick it up and I am not happy, quite upset actually. She had taken my bracelet apart! It was in one strand and it was still attached to some cord and the spool board it comes on! In a small baggy were the remaining pearls. I immediately got upset and asked why they took it apart if they said they couldn't do it! Also why did I have to contact you after almost a month?! IF you couldn't do it I should have had it back not even a week later. You would have known the pearls wouldn't fit by the ones that were already off and in the bag! It seemed to me like the person they sent it to started but soon realized they COULD NOT do it the way it was suppose to be and gave up! That is exactly what it looks like. The owner sat there and tried to argue with me that that is how I dropped it off when you could look a the printed image and see that it was most certainly NOT how I left it! He was VERY VERY nasty and started to yell at me and grabbed my items and tried to THROW them! I grabbed them as I was quite upset and honestly scared because I swear he was about to assault me. I remember when I dropped the bracelet off the same man was quite rude and nasty to a woman picking up her rings. I remember thinking wow that guy needs to just stay in the back. I had no idea he was the owner, if I had known that I probably would have left! How DARE you treat a woman that way. I don't know where you come from but that behavior is unacceptable here! You are a vile human being and your own employee looked horrified at your behavior and I guarantee 100% you act like this quite often. You sir give the original owners of Granada Jewelers a terrible name! You have zero compassion or...
Read moreI would rate this place a zero. I brought my bracelet there to get fixed about four months ago. It had issues with staying on and it was missing a stone . So they replaced it , and it stayed fix for actually 2 1/2 months because I work non stop and I didn’t have time get it fixed but I did call them and let them know. I brought my bracelet in again to get fixed for the same issue and was told I would have to pay again !??? I didn’t pay for a temporary fix it didn’t even last 6 months to a year , and all the lady said was ( Atleast it was fixed for 4 months ) that’s beyond RUDE be held accountable ! You didn’t FIX anything . I’m now taking my bracelet else where but this goes to show they just want your money and are not to fix the real issue . They even took pictures of when I first brought it in and it was the same as when I brought it back THIS was never fixed ! And it should’ve been fixed at no cost ! Since they get it right the first time . Please...
Read moreYears ago when I proposed to my wife, my father gave me a family ring. Well over 50 years old hand made, one of a kind from Spain to give it to her. Sadly a few years later that ring was stolen from inside of our home. Heart broken and not sure if we would ever have the ring back, we began saving to try and replace it. We never did get it back, so with picture in hand and a story we took it to Granada Jewelers. Mauricio was not only able to recreate that ring, but he was very detail oriented. He was able to find us a diamond as old as the one we had, European cut by hand. I added a picture of the ring to the photos as to show that it was not something common to our days. He is truly masterful In his art of jewelery making. He also appraised our ring which is now insured, and we only take it back to him for cleaning and stone checking. Thank you for making it possible to have as much of the original ring back as we can! Great place...
