I had an awful experience at your Ormond Beach location. I have been craving and anticipating coming to get a crepe for weeks. I walked in today, a Friday at 1:30 in the afternoon. There was no line waiting to order crepes. I stood under the “Order Here” sign and waited for my order to be taken. There were 4 employees on shift making crepes. They all seemed to be working on a large to go order. After waiting through 5 or 6 crepes to be made, an employee finally came to the order station to take orders from the line that formed. The employee looked at me, didn’t say a word and proceeded to ask the people next to me, BEHIND me in line what they would like to order. She noticed my frustration and after taking two crepe orders asked if I needed something. I told her I didn’t get to place an order yet and she rolled her eyes and asked what I wanted. When I went to pay at the register I tried to ask for a manager, the employee at the register told me he was the manager. I told him what happened and he told me that they all assumed I had already ordered. How they all assumed that when I was standing at the order station staring at them all waiting patiently to order, I don’t know, but both the employee who skipped taking my order and the “manager” who cashed me out were very rude. I've always enjoyed a good crepe, but this place has redefined what a crepe can be. Crepes have always stood out to me as a vehicle for sweet, sugary nonsense. While this place does nail the sugary crepe, they hit the world of the savory crepe out. of. the. park! We got the wobbles (savory turkey crepe) and the munchy crunchy (peanut butter, honey, granola) and both were amazing, but the wobbles being the absolute best. The best part being that these dishes come relatively cheap, with each dish being between $10 and $16, which is crazy considering the quality of experience you are getting with each dish! The interior itself is really clean and sleek, and the green and black color scheme looks really nice! Along with the superb interior design, The Crepevine gave one of the best customer service experiences I've ever had! The employees are super friendly, and give great recommendations for menu items and substitutions.
