I have shopped at this store for years. I don’t need assistance when shopping I went in on Sunday for 2 cards. I wanted a special card like I had purchased previously. I was looking for a pop up card that played music. I looked at the empty shelves that they are normally on and circled around the other aisles to see if they were moved. I walked to the counter for assistance. The 2 employees were directing a customer and when he said he would purchase the product at $165 they turned to each other and commented that they didn’t think he would purchase. He told them to help me while he looked around. I asked where the cards were and was told “Oh, they’re put away. We’re preparing for Christmas.” I understand that Christmas is your big money maker but we are 2 months away and people have birthdays year round. I went to Walgreens and found the card I was...

The associated that I encountered yesterday was helpful, but when I was cashing out she became very impatient as I was trying to access my account to use my rewards coupon. I had used 3 and she then told me that there was a limit. I assured her that I had used multiple rewards and coupons at this Hallmark location. She seemed reluctant. As I am trying to get into my account a patrons was waiting. She told them to go next door to the jewelery store. I offered her to assist them as I accessed my account. The other patron assured her she was not in a hurry. After feeling like the cashier was annoyed with me. I paid and was not able to use my rewards. Good customer service in the past at this location. The Gretchen’s Hallmark at The Trail’s shopping center has some of the rudest employees I’ve ever encountered. I wanted to look at a necklace to see the length. It was just in a taped pouch not a sealed manufacturer package. The employee refused to let me open it and did not offer any assistance to determine the length. It would have been approximately a $40-50 sale but I guess they don't care. I imagine the owner would not like to lose the business. Will never shop there again.
