This is a brand new IHOP that just opened up not too long ago. I went in the sign said wait to be set. I waited about 2 minutes someone said that they will be alright with me. I waited another 4 minutes and one of the servers saw me and asked me if I needed to be helped I said I needed to be set I wanted to eat here. My first time at IHOP she sent me she ended up being my server and she asked me what I would like I said I haven't seen the menu so just give me a minute and I asked her for my Dr pepper. Dr pepper I got came in a really small glass like I was a child glass for that price it was not enough to drink. I waited another 8 minutes and I got a different server to ask him if they could give my server so I can order my food and he asked me have you ordered yet I said no not yet. He ran off to go get her. She was pleasant when she arrived she took my order right away. I asked for my cheeseburger to be medium. The cheeseburger was raw when it came out so I'm assuming the Cook or the chef that's making the food does not know what medium means. There was a lot of juice and blood on my plates and I got on my shirt so I had to throw it away because you can't get grease out of a shirt. I tried their appetizer their mozzarella sticks or amazing I don't eat onions so I did not eat that and there was chicken tenders it look like it was burnt. When I tried it it didn't taste too bad the outside just was overcooked inside not too bad. this is the thing most restaurants will automatically give you more than one napkin. Best restaurant only gave me one napkin with that hamburger being as greasy and dripping mess I look like I never ate in a restaurant before. It was embarrassing. I was not with my meal and I waited another 5 minutes. And the server didn't care before if I needed anything or even anticipated my needs to me that she wasn't a good server or she was new. But the thing is I needed stuff and she wasn't very attentive. The restaurant is clean there is a good atmosphere there but if you're not one of those that they care about it seems like they'll drop the ball and not take care of you. The server finally realized I was done and she was literally said oh I don't want you to have to wait for anything just let me know when you're ready for the check and I said I was ready for the check. This time, the service was significantly better—we felt welcomed and genuinely acknowledged. The food was great, and there was no sense of being rushed or pushed out. I’m really glad I gave it a second chance and appreciate the team for reaching out and providing such a positive experience. Thank you all for the great service!
Original: Tried out the new IHOP and honestly, I wish I hadn’t. Our server was dismissive and unaccommodating from the start. I didn’t feel comfortable asking for anything—not even a simple refill—and we were never checked on. It was hard not to notice the difference in how she treated another table that came in after us, showing them much more courtesy and attention, possibly due to the difference in skin tone.
The food was disappointing, and unfortunately, it didn’t sit well with my 4-year-old son. I won’t go into detail, but it was enough to make me seriously concerned. The whole experience left me uneasy and just ready to leave. When my boyfriend asked for extra pancakes, the server’s audible sigh said it all.

Also it took them a while to get my order. Finally, a lady her name Eileen(POS 2562) came and took my order. She was a very good waitress gave me my order really fast. The food was very greasy eggs, pancake and a burnt hash brown. I told the waitress the hashbrown was burnt on the bottom and she came back right away to replaced it. That was very nice of her! She's very attentive to her customers. Therefore, I gave her a good tip. The cook has to be trained not to use too much grease on everything especially breakfast meal.
