Women working weren't very friendly to me, they were chatting it up with a regular it seemed, and candy was just okay. I dont know what they make from scratch but I'm just not into rice krispy treats made from kelloggs being dipped in chocolate and paying a few bucks for it. I would rather pay more (or honestly what they're already charging) and get a homemade product. We stopped in yesterday to get a box of chocolates for a treat. I love their old-time candy store feel. They had so many varieties available, from traditional cream centers (that aren't icky sweet -my favs: key lime pie & mint), and nut clusters to chocolate dipped brownies and hot Doritos, to name a few. It was hard to choose, as always! My favorites are the dark chocolates. I did try the milk chocolate pumpkin spice cream and it was delicious!! It is definitely worth the drive out to Owosso (I'm from Flint) to get some of Murtle's Handmade Chocolates!! We will be back...

My husband found this shop about 2 years ago and we drove from Lansing to get my favorites- chocolate covered strawberries. Since then this is our go to for our specialty chocolate needs. They’re chocolate is so rich and pairs so well with the fruit. This year when we picked up our anniversary order we were kindly gifted some pretzels that honestly rival the strawberries!
