Hobby Lobby — Local services in Paducah

Look, it isnt all bad. We have made good friends there. This is my issue. So my husband, Kirk Swolestaff and I are amateur artists. We went every other week when they would have 50% off masters touch and fine touch. We spent 1000's of dollars. Then one day we came in after a couple of years and it was at 40% off.

I called corporate to ask why decreased the sale amount. I was given to a nice enough CSR. He rambled and rambled. Talking about nothing. I said come on. He finally said "Its just 10% ma'am its not a big deal."

I said, then why did you change it?

I went in to get a memorial flag case for my friend's husband who passed away, air Force veteran. Most of them had damage on the edges and when I found one that was in decent shape and got up to the counter there wasn't appropriate packing material for something that should be treated gently and with Honor. I know she did her best but it did slip while she was trying to pack it with some paper in a plastic bag and it hit the counter! Greatly concerned that the item I just purchased, for quite a bit of money, was potentially getting damaged! First of all I love Hobby Lobby, however the older lady at the fabric counter today in AM was rude. I asked for some rib knit by the yard. She states she’s been at HL 22 years and they don’t carry it! Ok, I thought I got it here. I walked away and looked around to see if there was any! I walked by the cutting table again and the older (75) lady was talking about me to another customer!!!!! She was saying “ I told her we didn’t have it I’ve been here 22 years. Some people just don’t listen” I was dumbfounded!!!! I told her she shouldn’t be talking badly about customers!
