If I could give a zero star review, I would do so without hesitation. My daughter stopped in to the KY Oaks Mall location. She was overcharged twice (they charged her $34 for 1 adult meal and a kids meal), treated rudely and served food that was not properly cooked. The "Station Burger" was supposed to have bacon pieces mixed into the ground beef. It was more pieces of bacon fat and the burger was still pink. I called to speak to a manager because although they did end up refunding her $6 of that $34 but according to the website, the total should have been approximately $20 so I knew she was still owed some money back. I was connected with Nathan who said the website was wrong and that she could get a free meal next time. I told him that after the food and the fact that not one of the three employees standing around hand on masks, none of us would probably be frequenting the establishment. He then said that masks were optional but that he would refund the meal. When I went back with her to get the refund, I nicely let him know that according to Kentucky's Healthy at Work site, masks were not optional unless it was in regards to a child under 5 years of age or a health issue, he told me that nobody enforces the masks, so they didn't have...
Read moreIt's a five guys level restaurant with, maybe, a little more table service. But, something about those flattened beef patties are darn tasty!
I really liked the jalapeño burger. Had to eat it slowly and balance it with soda & fries, and I like spicy food.
Liked the fries too. They reminded me of how so loved the soft fries at McDonalds as a kid. These were tastier, smaller, and more plentiful. Also, they were greasiest, but they tasted great!
My friend grabbed the chili burger and asked for fries and the chili on the side. He was thinking, firemen (the place's theme) equals great chili. Not so much. Said it was fine, but nothing to write home about and probably would be tastier on the burger than on the side. Plus, since chili is a side, he ended up with a side of chili and a large order of fries. Not sure he really wanted the big shareable appetizer size of fries, as opposed to the smaller number of fries I got.
If you want a burger, these are tasty and have creative toppings. I didn't try the shakes, but they were tempting. On the other hand, if you are just looking for good food in general, there are healthier Asian options in the area that may be just as...
Read moreMy husband and I were doing a little shopping at Kentucky Oaks Mall yesterday and decided to try out The Station Burger — and we’re so glad we did!
Everything is made fresh to order and still came out in about 8–10 minutes. The staff was unbelievably friendly — seriously, some of the nicest folks we’ve met in a while!
We tried: Crinkle fries (SO good!) Onion rings (crispy and golden!) Arson Burger with grilled jalapeños — my husband loved it and I stole a bite… DELICIOUS! Lettuce wrap burger for me with tomato, pickles, and A1 sauce — simple but really hit the spot!
They have lots of sides to choose from like hand-cut fries, red skin fries, mozzarella sticks, and more. I love that they offer lettuce wraps too — great option if you’re gluten-free or just trying to keep it lighter.
The price was fair: $26 for two big burgers, fries, onion rings, and drinks. It’s maybe a little on the higher side for a mall meal, but absolutely worth it for the quality and freshness.
We’ll definitely be back! Fresh food, great service, and those...
