Kind of disappointed was looking forward to trying this place for the first time since I left Huntsville Alabama I’m now in Paducah Kentucky. I am a truck driver. I have eaten barbecue restaurants all over. First off, Restaurant was not very busy standing at basically the check-in for 10 minutes before I got sat, and then probably another 10 minutes before my order was taken. Maybe five tables in the whole place. Had people sit at them. 2 I ordered the loaded baked potato Meal instead of using standard size potatoes, maybe get a bag of baked potato size like you could get at a normal grocery store for me to have to ask for butter and sour cream for a baked potato I’m just not used to that at a barbecue place. Basically all you do is put meat and shredded cheese on your potato to the owner of this establishment. Next time you’re in Texas try a barbecue baked potato you’ll see the difference. 3rd There’s no reason I should have sat in the establishment for over an hour for a baked potato between standing at the door, waiting to get my order, taken and checking out an hour...
Read moreGreat food We arrived at 8:30 and you could tell the server was upset, blonde, long hair. I told her we'd eat fast and not keep them late. She wanted to take our order right away. I told her it was friends first time there. She brought me a water after I asked. Then we ordered drinks. She wasn't giving us time to look at menu and her friendliness was forced because they were closing in 30 minutes. I've worked as a server and general restaurant manager and I know some of my best tips were when I made the late comers feel like they were welcome. The manager , guy with a beard brought out our food. He checked on us too. The food was delicious as always. Everything was so hot. She brought us more water after I had a full one still on my table. Waitress wasn't paying attention. The manager, young man with beard made sure we felt welcomed. Checked on us. Ask us if food was cooked to suit us. This was Friday...
Read moreWe love smoked ribs, smoked meat, in general; and like to get it without sauce. You cannot get ribs without a thick, overly sweet sauce, at Bandanas, that they say is just a dry rub! LOL! It is far from dry, and sloppy, and detracts from taste of meat, which does not seem to be smoked at all . . . Just slightly baked. The ribs were meaty and tender; and if you like yours sweet and gooey, then this is your kinda place. The manager said they came pre-prepared with this “dry rub” already on them. Perhaps they are frozen when they get to individual stores, and it just seems dry to them, when they put them in the oven to heat. ???
About $33 for full rack of ribs only, tax and all; and they have more various sauces that are prepackaged, and wetnaps they provide . . . You’ll definitely need those wetnaps, unless you have a place to wash your...
