If I could give 0 stars I would on the food not only was it expensive, I had to send my 1st choice the seafood pasta which btw was almost $20 back bc seafood consists of more than about 3 shrimp and the other was imitation crabmeat and not to mention the sauce was terrible tasted like it came out of a can and was very watered down, for the price you should get way more ill guarantee you in the small bowl it comes in their was maybe about 3 shrimp, about maybe 5 pieces imitation crabmeat, about not even a handful of pasta and the rest was sauce if that's what you wanna call it and I'm actually cutting them a break as to the amounts. My fiance got the catfish dinner and he said it was actually ok, just ok, cracker barrel has way way better catfish dinner, when making my next choice I felt pressured and was already upset so I ended up getting the catfish dinner and had to get to it to go bc we had somewhere to be, we had the crab ragon as an appetizer and I wish as a meal as well bc they were actually really good. Our waitress was very good, she was nice and good at her job. That's the only good thing that I have to say about this place. I don't see it being there very much longer I can't believe they made it this far!!! And not to mention our bill was for 2 catfish dinner and cokes it was before the...
Read moreTraveling through the area, and wanted something different. Menu prices weren't bad, considering it goes of 'market price', the place looks clean and new, and not many people there. The menu wasn't very clear on what all came with some meals or what was on certian items, such as the Lobster Roll. Wife had Lobster Roll, I ordered fried catfish with onion rings. Food arrived promptly, service was good, then we began to eat. The fried catfish was good, and the wife's lobster roll seemed fine. Then we started noticing things. Tomato on the wife's along with a TON of onions. (Wife can not eat tomatoes for medical reasons). Ok, pick it all off, continue to eat. The Cole slaw with mine smelled sour, I declined to even try it. Then we looked at the tarted sauce. There was a hair in the middle of it. At this point a woman came over, asked how it was, we explained the issues and only got 'I'm sorry' and she walked off. Explained to our server when he brought the check, hoping to see more concern from him, but we only got a deer in the headlights look and another 'sorry'. Paid the bill and left. I can only speak for our own experience, yours may differ, but my wife and I...
Read moreThose in our group that ordered the combos with shrimp, crab, lobster, sausage, crawfish in a boil, said it was amazing! My one son said it was better than some he had on our FL trip. He's hard to please. So that was great. For all you receive the prices are very reasonable. Two of the kids ordered the fish basket and it was good, the other ordered the shrimp Po boy and it was great. I ordered the seafood pasta. It wasn't bad but it wasn't great either. They serve complimentary garlic Texas toast. I would prefer a little better bread offering. These are the kind you buy frozen in the box at Walmart. My mom ordered a lobster tail and it was apparently overcooked or something. It was dry, and rubbery, some of the edges almost looked crispy. She had a terrible time trying to get it to come out and there wasn't much to it. She wished she had ordered another meat. But because the others had so much food we all ended up tasting each other's and there was plenty to go around and everyone left satisfied. If I go back I would definitely order one of the boils. I feel like that is kind of their specialty and feature type item. Other things like the pasta are maybe a little...
