I went into the store looking for “fancy paper plates and napkins”. Staff was great, polite and very helpful. When I went to checkout only one cashier, but another stepped up. I was next in line and this store has a white pillar in the path of the checkout lane. When the cashier announced he could take the next customer the woman behind me walked passed me and took the spot in front of the new cashier. I was stunned 😳 at first but as her husband followed slightly behind her he turned and apologized to me.

That one act of kindness from him calmed the anger that was starting to build in me. This kindness from him may not have meant anything to him but it made me realize how God wants us to be slow to anger. You reminded me of a valuable lesson today ✝️

Love, love, love this store. There are amazing finds in each and every aisle. They also have excellent customer service. One of their employees, Katherine, always goes above and beyond to help whenever she is there. One other little thing that I noticed on my first time in, was that near the furniture pieces, there was a sort of "pad" of paper rulers hanging on the wall so that customers could take accurate measurements to ensure that an item would work in their space. Such a small gesture, but really an amazing thing that someone thought of to help shoppers out!! Totally impressed with this store and cannot stop myself from shopping there...

It's like a scavenger hunt. You have to go once a month to find the right kitchen item, tasty snack, or painting to use a background for another painting. Come with a friend you can annoy as she looks for something specific. It's more fun that way. Their prices are reasonable sometimes, sometimes not. If they have the thing you want go for it. I really do like the kitchen section because there's always a nice treat imported from Turkey, Portugal, Spain,...
