Took my rings in to be cleaned, and they said I had a few diamonds loose. No big deal, or so I thought. I wanted them resized after having my daughter, so I was okay with them being sent off. The day I was supposed to go and pick them up, they called and said that they didn't pass inspection and they were not soldered. They had to send them back to be fixed. Extremely disappointed that I am still without my rings. They said it would only take another week, but who knows at this point. If you are thinking about buying a wedding ring/wedding band, do yourself a favor and go local. Since this has happened to me I reached out to friends and family that have also gone here, and their stories are similar or worse than mine. Their design and service center is a joke! Once our Kay's card is paid off I will be cutting ties with them and going elsewhere. I'd rather spend the money to have my rings cleaned and/or fixed at a local business than continue to work with such an unprofessional company. How do you have two rings for two weeks and not complete the requests listed properly? Complete incompetency!
I would like to be clear, my issues are with the design and service department. Any time I have gone into this store the staff is always very nice and extremely professional. I hate that they even have to be associated with the design and service department.
I would give 0...
Read moreThis place has really gone down hill since R.B. Robertson closed and they merged together. All 3 jewelry stores Kay's, R.B. and Zales are owned by the same company. The Leo diamonds at Kays aren't what they used to be. The customer service definitely isn't professional. The man wouldn't even clean my ring. Thats always been a complementaries when you purchase jewelry with them. The gentleman and ladies that was at R.B.'s always took good care of theirs customers. They would go above and beyond to be sure you got the best service, diamonds and jewelry. Its sad when people are just at a job clearly for a paycheck and not to do the best at...
Read moreI've been a loyal customer of Kays for over 10 years. I bought a wedding ring worth over $8,000 and a diamond fell out. I had Kays replace it and not even 3mths later, it broke in the same exact spot. Now I'm missing 2 diamonds. When I went in to see about getting it repaired...AGAIN... I was met with, What do you want? And you missed your inspection so they won't fix it. First off, Why would I come and have it inspected if it was already broken and why did it even break?? If it was fixed properly, it would've been fine. Shitty service for shit repair jobs. Don't waste your money here. They do nothing but overcharge and...
