Read moreI am very disappointed in this store! I live in Southern WI and Thank the Lord we are blessed with a wonderful Lowe's! Which in some ways was bad for me as I have 1 to compare to. I wanted to purchase flooring for my home I purchased in Interlachen Fl I was turned over to Tameka for help saying she was great with flooring! Well for me that turned out to not be true, seeing that I am in Wisconsin and working over the phone and via email I was hoping for some assistance in picking the right flooring for my MH and for my budget I didnt get either! I asked for her advice and help more then once, she failed to tell me the moisture level in my home, which is a big part of picking out flooring, I paid for a lead test, never have I seen the paper of what the test was when I asked I was told it was fine. I paid to have that done and should have a piece of paper showing the results of that test and also she said she would send me my measurement specs never did that either so after weeks of frustration she comes back with a price of a floor I had to pick out myself of 4K . Ok here we go, my house there is 802 sq feet total, I am not even doing the whole house! but with the quote she did not offer me any other information like sub flooring, labor cost Nothing!! Said she would email it to me, never got that either! My home here in WI we had 1400 Sq. Foot done and paid 5,100.00 mind you we had very expensive nice stuff put in for that price and we are very happy with the job Delavan WI Lowe's did for us. They explained everything down to a tee. So I ended up calling the Manager in Palatka and told him my problem in detail he said he wrote it all down and would talk with her and I would here from him on Saturday 12/15/18. After that call I called My Lowe's in Delavan WI and explained all this to their Manager, he said he would have Christina a flooring specialists call me and see if we could work from here with the Palatka Store. I met with her, I was amazed at all the things never discussed with me, like sub flooring they needed to put down, she had stairs on there, I dont have any stairs. I took off a back bedroom early on, that was still on there. I was very upset leaving because Tameka knew that my MH was older and I planed to bye a new one in 3 years so I didnt want to invest more in this then I had to. It is now Monday and no the Manager from Palatka never called me back. I feel because my MH is old they feel Me and it isnt worth their time and energy. The whole experience has now left me with no choice but to seek out a different company which is sad for me as I also need to buy a fridge and dishwasher and fencing and sad to say it wont be from...
I ordered a wall oven online on 11/5/23 and it was supposed to be ready for pickup on 11/16/23. I would have had it delivered to the store but that was an extra fee. I had people lined up to pick it up and install it for me that day but it wasn’t at the store yet.
The following day 11/17 I called to find out why it was delayed. I got the computer phone tree that said it would transfer me to an associate, but instead promptly hung up. I called back over and over and this kept happening. I didn’t have the option of going directly to the store as I am disabled, otherwise I would have jumped in my car and gone down there.
Finally, after pressing “0” repeatedly, I got through to a human who checked the status and told me “it’s in transit to the store”. I already knew this much from checking the app. I wanted a more precise answer of when I could expect to pick it up as I needed to let those helping me make plans.
She called the vendor and called me back saying the best she could tell be was that it’s on the truck and the next delivery to the store was going to be 11/20. I told her that was unacceptable with Thanksgiving being so close, and she asked if I wanted to speak to the manager.
The manager said he would check into it and call me back which he did, but all he told me was the same exact thing. It’s on the truck somewhere and wouldn’t be in until Monday.
I asked if they had any wall ovens in stock in the store, even if it was a floor model. He said the floor models are just shelves and don’t have all the parts to make it operable, but he said he’d take a look and call me back.
He never called me back, so I canceled the order and bought the same exact oven at The Home Depot. Even though I still won’t get it until 11/20, at least they will deliver it to my house free of charge and I won’t be waiting over 2 weeks for it.
The reason my rating is so low is because I feel like their system is broken when it comes to customer support, from the computer answering system that repeatedly hung up on me to the lack of follow through from management. I don’t have a lot of money and ovens are not cheap.
With some home renovations coming up next year I had preferred to use Lowe’s but now I will either be spending my money at Home Depot or anywhere else, but not this...
Read moreAt this point if I could give zero stars I would. We purchased a riding lawnmower to the tune of almost $6000.00. It is delivered scratched in the rear to the bare metal. Oh and it won't start. So we call the store they give us a discount for the damage, after repeatedly being told we would get a call back and having to call again because we didn't, and we offer to bring in the dead battery to be replaced because they won't send anyone till the next afternoon. So after being at work all day we drive to the store and while getting a new battery are asked by the associate, "did you try charging it?". Umm what? You just delivered it why should I have to charge the battery on a brand new mower. So take battery home and install, NOPE! no power. Call and are told manager is out and will call us back. No return call, fyi that was the excuse earlier in the day too. So next morning call again and finally get someone on the phone only to be told, manager will call you back. Get call several hrs later and we are told oh well we can come get it tomorrow and once we have it back we can bring you a replacement. So in the mean time we are calling another Lowes and received wonderful help. Told this (Palatka) store to come get their garbage. Fast forward a week or so and ordered a plate for attaching a cart to the new mower. Ordered on Oct 2. Was supposed to be at the store yesterday. No email, no text just perpetual "intransit". Now says delayed. Call store only to be told that it arrived on the 6th but is not in the system and they don't know where it is and the "manager will call us back." Yeah right because you have certainly kept your word before. We have called corporate already with the mower. Maybe we need to call again. Whoever runs this store is a sorry excuse for something because this is a management not an employee problem at this point. AVOID GOING HERE!!!
