I went in the store before Christmas with two of my friends that wanted gifts for their children. While in there Ashley helped my friends and was wonderful. I also had the heart warming pleasure of watching Cheyenne help some little girl and her Big Sister. It was so beautiful the way she interacted with the little girl and made her experience so special. I also saw the energy Travis brought to the show as he walked into the store and how great he was with all the children that were so excited for their turn. He brought one little child, that was so anxious, over to start putting a small amount of stuff in the bear by hand. We were rung up by Marisa who was super nice and when I called there because I wanted to make sure I had all my names correct, Lexus answered and was super friendly and helpful.
It was just a wonderful experience. I am 50 and love when I see children being treated like they were back when I was younger. When people seemed to care more. The positive reinforcement given by the staff here is to be commended for sure. While you all set out to touch the hearts of all the children, you certainly made my day by touching my heart as well. Great job!

Read moreMy friends and I went here for my 19th birthday for the nostalgia and had a blast! The employees were very kind and, as long as you're respectful to the younger customers, BABW is an amazing place for kids young and old!
My issue, though, comes in variety. If we wanted an unlicenced bear, our options were slim to none. Classic designs like Pawlette and the fan favorite Longhorn were thrown to the wayside in favor of Toothless, Poppy, and the Minions. I understand Build A Bear hasn't been doing great financially these past few years and this is largely a corporate issue, but it was really disheartening to see our options trimmed down.
Nevertheless, we had an amazing time. Greg and Angel, thank you so much! I know you had another coworker on staff but I can't remember her name, thank...
Read moreOur visit to the Build-A-Bear at The Gardens Mall was a major letdown. The sound machine and shower station weren’t working, and the staff rushed us through the process with no enthusiasm that's supposed to make the experience magical. I reached out to Guest Services hoping for a chance to recreate the experience at another location. Instead, I was offered two $10 reward certificates—not nearly enough to cover what we spent or enough to even cover just the bear or sound—and eventually was told to return the bear (who is now my child’s companion). It’s incredibly disheartening that Build-A-Bear’s idea of resolution is to send the bear back rather than help us give the joyful experience all children deserve. A truly disappointing response from a brand built on creating...
