What a deal! During the Black Friday weekend they had a buy one for $28, get the next for $6. I ended up having an $86 bill, BUT that is because I added quite a few things: clothes, scents, sounds. The best smells, imo, are pumpkin latte (or pumpkin something) and rainbow. I got the Pikachu and Charmander with their respective pokemon sounds. Pikachu got the rainbow scent and Charmander got the pumpkin latte. They are so adorable and the pokemon themed clothes are Christmas themed. Too cute! We love them and I can smell them when I walk by. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful with every aspect. The images show both pokemon and them sittin on top of a bookcase, so that you can see their size accurately.

I took my one year old son to this location for his first Build-A-Bear on 11/15/24. There was a gentleman who helped us tremendously throughout our experience. There was another worker that was on her phone with AirPods in the entire time. She did not attempt to help us at all and was more focused on her lunch than assisting us. I was hoping for the experience that Build-A-Bear promises, but instead I was met with a lady who couldn’t care less about helping and she clearly wanted no one to be in the store. This was the second time we’ve seen this lady and both times it was the same experience. The gentleman who helped us was amazing though and we appreciate him!!

I had a great time here getting my giant highland cow stuffed, it takes 20 minutes to stuff it and everyone was so patient with me! I wish I got the name of the girl who stuffed mine because she was super sweet. To the many people complaining about not being greeted upon their arrival into the store: Most of the time it’s teenagers who are running the show here, I remember being a teenager and not wanting to be at work... Everyone has those days especially when you’re a growing teenager or even young adult. Lighten up on these people and maybe they’d want to greet you. I have always been welcomed here with smiles and kindness, I love this place!.

I went in the store before Christmas with two of my friends that wanted gifts for their children. While in there Ashley helped my friends and was wonderful. I also had the heart warming pleasure of watching Cheyenne help some little girl and her Big Sister. It was so beautiful the way she interacted with the little girl and made her experience so special. I also saw the energy Travis brought to the show as he walked into the store and how great he was with all the children that were so excited for their turn. He brought one little child, that was so anxious, over to start putting a small amount of stuff in the bear by hand. We were rung up by Marisa who was super nice and when I called there because I wanted to make sure I had all my names correct, Lexus answered and was super friendly and helpful.

It was just a wonderful experience. I am 50 and love when I see children being treated like they were back when I was younger. When people seemed to care more. The positive reinforcement given by the staff here is to be commended for sure. While you all set out to touch the hearts of all the children, you certainly made my day by touching my heart as well. Great job!

I have been in customer service for 30 years and you are...

My friends and I went here for my 19th birthday for the nostalgia and had a blast! The employees were very kind and, as long as you're respectful to the younger customers, BABW is an amazing place for kids young and old!

My issue, though, comes in variety. If we wanted an unlicenced bear, our options were slim to none. Classic designs like Pawlette and the fan favorite Longhorn were thrown to the wayside in favor of Toothless, Poppy, and the Minions. I understand Build A Bear hasn't been doing great financially these past few years and this is largely a corporate issue, but it was really disheartening to see our options trimmed down.

Nevertheless, we had an amazing time. Greg and Angel, thank you so much! I know you had another coworker on staff but I can't remember her name, thank...

Our visit to the Build-A-Bear at The Gardens Mall was a major letdown. The sound machine and shower station weren’t working, and the staff rushed us through the process with no enthusiasm that's supposed to make the experience magical. I reached out to Guest Services hoping for a chance to recreate the experience at another location. Instead, I was offered two $10 reward certificates—not nearly enough to cover what we spent or enough to even cover just the bear or sound—and eventually was told to return the bear (who is now my child’s companion). It’s incredibly disheartening that Build-A-Bear’s idea of resolution is to send the bear back rather than help us give the joyful experience all children deserve. A truly disappointing response from a brand built on creating...
