The employees are so judgemental and profile you as soon as you walk in the door. I have tattoos as do millions of people but apparently hobby lobby correlates tattoos to being a criminal! I walked in. And asked where the magnets were because I was helping my nephew with his anti gravity science project but instead of being meet with a kind response I was meet with a scoff and a look up and down then was told do you have money to pay for the magnets which I don't understand because I was wearing a 2 thousand dollar watch and a 4200 dollar platinum rosary along with a brand new outfit so why I was questioned about the fact that I might not be paying for my goods was rediculouse and it happens every time I go in there so beware if your not white with a part in your hair and slacks on and loafers then your not welcome in hobby lobby and if you don't believe me walk in and watch the first thing they do is get on the intercom and say there code to have you watched while shopping and you can leave and come back in and guess what there on the intercom saying the same thing and that will...
Read moreCalled multiple times and got promised call backs for days before getting one. Had to drive to Bakersfield to get what I needed and they were amazing! This store though, did nothing. They did nothing to go out of there way to make a happy customer. Bought a tree that was a display and it was fine before leaving the store. I live 1.5 hours away from the store and got home.. the tree was broken. Half the lights weren't working and no one until days later after already driving to Bakersfield to get a new tree said anything about some warranty exchange. So I had my mom make another 2hr round trip (would've been 4hr for me) to get the new tree and I STILL have to drive another 3hr round trip to take the broken one back. No compensation. Nothing. The guy putting it in the box was sweet but, snapped the wire on the lights and this store just doesn't seem to care. I've worked in retail a long time and I know for a fact managers can do something small to keep a happy cust. But since they clearly don't care about losing customers, they've just...
Read moreHobby lobby is a cult .. I'm convinced that they teach their employees to profile all customers and after they have chosen their victim one of the members announces very loudly on the PA. Security check isle __. I can see them in the office Woman, alone with purse that's over the size of a clutch, and is tumbling around in it to find her keys or phone. Oh yeah and I never been to that store before so, they have no reason to pick me out of a store full of people of all color and age. God it makes me want to never bring my business there and I'm thinking about making a Facebook page about people and their experiences at good ol hobby (judgement ) lobby Do you know that feeling when your integrity is being judged. I already have social anxiety and rarely go into stores. So, for Hobby lobby to make me feel like I don't fit that perfect profile and can't shop in privately, I got all these employees coming up to me asking the same thing. "Are you finding everything ok" putting away a random thing on the shelf next to me. Never will...
