Called Walgreens Palmer to check if they have my prescribed medication in stock since last time there was a shortage. They REFUSED to tell me if they are able to fill my prescription because my medication is a controlled one ?? This makes no sense. Again: they know I'm prescribed this medication and they refused to provide availability information to me. Supposedly I have to ask my doctor to first sent in the script so they could tell me the medication is out of stock. They also suggested my doctor should call local pharmacies to check on their inventory- I never heard such idiocy before. There is shortages, and every other pharmacy was able to tell me if the medication was in stock before sending them a script, but Palmer Walgreens. Walgreens Customer Service is plain disgusting, they hung up on me twice after a long wait on hold. I even had my blood pressure elevated after talking to them. I used this branch on 25th St for many years since it was built, it used to be a good place, not any more, I had problems with them times before as well. Pharmacy is the next thing after the doctor, patients go there to receive their prescribed treatment and these clowns act like clerks in beer shop. I'm done with them. We have a good choice of pharmacies around here, I will be telling everyone to not complicate their lives...
Read moreI received such great customer service today from the pharmacy drive up window. I came to pick up a prescription for my dog but needed to grab a product from over the counter but I had just picked up my dog from the animal hospital and she was in a great deal of pain in the backseat of my car. Greg from the pharmacy helped me out by providing the over-the-counter product at the same time I was picking up my prescription. For someone who has health issues herself, and having the pet with issues at the same time, I can't thank Greg enough. I wanted to leave him some cash to buy his lunch as a thankful as I was so grateful for his customer service. Unfortunately he had to decline due to company policy but thanked me. It's hard to find good customer service nowadays so I wanted to leave this review in hopes that Greg will be recognized by Walgreens for his outstanding customer service and for the little things that help out people in such a big way. Read moreIf I could give this pharmacy a negative ten, I absolutely would!! The first thing I’d like to say is the customer service at this location is mind blowing bad!!! The rudeness of half of the pharmacy including the actual pharmacist is awful. Also, do not get your prescriptions filled here if you need the scripts within a few hours. My son went to the emergency room and had a script sent over. I was told it would be 30 minutes so I took him home and waited. After waiting almost 4 hours I called to find out it still wasn’t ready and it would be another 20 minutes. When I asked if this time was accurate I was told probably. What kind of efficiency is this????? If it’s going to be 5 hours then tell the customer that. If you have no idea then say that too. This is approximately the 4th or 5th time I’ve been spoken to so rudely by the pharmacy staff and had no way of knowing when my child’s script would be ready.
