I ordered online from this place about once a month for years...always the thin crust pizza with ham and pineapple. Never any problems, they've always been very polite (that's why I gave them 2 stars).
However, today I ordered thin crust half mozzarella / extra cheese and half onions / bacon for lunch. After I picked it up and got home I realized I got the half onions and bacon part of the pizza, but just plain (very little cheese) on the other half. So, I took it back to the store and told them that I didn't get what I had ordered. Donovan (the manager?) told me that they didn't have fresh mozzarella right now and couldn't make the pizza I ordered. They have my phone number, why not call me and tell me they couldn't make the order I requested? AND more importantly, they took my money for two extra toppings and knowingly didn't put those toppings on or refunded me for them. None of his excuse explains the missing extra cheese I paid for either.
I asked Donovan what he will do about that thinking he will offer me a refund for the extra toppings I paid for and never got, but that didn't happen. He told me the best he can do is make me another pizza with toppings they had available and I can come pick it up in about 25 minutes. I told him that making a third trip to the store was wasting my time and gas money and I just wanted a refund for the entire pizza.
That's when he said that he "couldn't do that since it was an online order".
Let me get this straight...I ordered something that you didn't give me yet charged me for and you can't do anything other then give me another product I don't really want (another pizza with toppings you have but I don't want)? ... ARE YOU FREAKING KIDDING ME?
I'm not the kind of person to get angry easily, but that made me raise my voice right there...
Read moreOrdered delivery at about 1:15-- 2 slice n' sticks, one was the meal, with 2 sodas. Their delivery connects via doordash, which is no issue. Estimated delivery time was about 2:05. At about 1:45, I receive a text from the dasher associated with my order that theyve been waiting, only getting comments from the workers at the restaurant that the order is coming. No problem to me, the estimated delivery was still about 20 minutes away. Another half hour later, however, the dasher is still waiting and still receiving the same comments. So, we try calling the restaurant. No answer. ANOTHER half hour later, the original dasher left, and a new one was assigned. I try to contact doordash to cancel the order, as now it's almost an hour past the edt. Doordash tells me to contact the store. Still no answer. Thank goodness doordash is eventually able to cancel it for me.
Yes, at this point I could have gone and picked it up. But I payed a delivery fee, have already payed for the order, and quite frankly, there's no reason a business can't answer their phone, especially since issues like this can arise...

My family order online for Stuffed crust pizza for tonight’s dinner. Stuffed crust Plain, veggie ( Mushrooms, Black Olives, Green peppers) , and a 3 meat ( Seasoned beef, Sausage, pepperoni). Well……. My Dad had went inside to pick it up. They said I am sorry I didn’t have a few toppings. We’re not picky about what’s on the pizza so that was okay. And the Worker that was their talking. Said is there anyway we could say on their that we’re out of such and such toppings. My family said I’m not sure! Isn’t that your job to find out or to called us back to say you don’t have the toppings. Maybe they should start thinking that they ripped people off with the extra toppings they don’t have that we pay for.
