We have given this place a few shots, but unfortunately it just is not very good and extremely overpriced. This restaurant is clean and there are no issues with food prep, but the dishes are just not great. Service is fast.
We’ve ordered traditional tacos, quesadillas and had chips and dips/guacamole. A dinner costed me over $40.
The tacos are pretty flavorless, the meats are bland and the onions are not cooked at all, but just chopped on too. Size is decent, but what does it matter when it’s not exciting. The cheese quesadilla was $10 and pretty small. Extra for meat.
The nacho cheese isn’t bad, but both times we got the guacamole it was dark brown throughout. So either a) it’s sitting too long or b) they’re not using any citrus to preserve color. Regardless, it does not taste good. Waste of $7. The chips themselves are fine.
Do yourself a favor and go down to tacos y tequila down the street and get some good authentic dishes for the same price (if not less). It’s a sit down but their take out is...
Read moreDon't bother with chains like Chipotle. Local Mexican, like this is above par. They have super fresh, tasty pork, beef and chicken that's seasoned well. The burritos, bowls, quesadillas, tacos and empenadas are fantastic. I love their chipotle ranch sauce, it tastes home made. I like their Mexican rice, fresh salsa and soda options. Everything is reasonably priced for being so superior to whats around. The only thing that could use some work is the salad, maybe an upgrade in lettuce and larger portion. It's easy to order and I've never had a mistake in my order and I've ordered 25 times or so. Definitely my favorite Mexican place in the area. The only other place I like is El Jefes, they are the best two around. Not Moe's, Chipotle, Rice & Beans tastes better in my opinion. Chipotle is terrible, their meat isn't great, out of foods,, orders are wrong and it's difficult to order on their site a lot....
Read moreI wish I could give zero star. The worst Mexican food ever. Ordered 2 chimichangas and tres Leche cake, I asked if the cake was fresh prior and was told yes, it was old stale croutons in a cup of milk, with whipped cream and cinnamon I tried it while we waited for the order, it was so bad I wanted to ask for my money back but instead I tossed it in the trash at the restaurant. We took the food to go but I opened in the car to eat, the chimichangas we not deep fried instead doughy, the rice had no flavor and the beef was a tire couldn’t even chew it, sour cream tasted old, at least the 3 slices of avocado was fresh and the lettuce on the side. Will never go again after $36 we had to toss the food. Lesson learn when we went in no one else in the restaurant and there was no food aroma in the air. Tired of these restaurants...
