Five Below — Local services in Palmetto Bay

Like a dollar store by but $5 for majority of items. I'm not typically a shopper of this retail category but I needed shirt boxes for Xmas gifts & internet have 5 Below as having them. Wow they have tons of cool stuff at $5! As an animal rescuer they have pet beds & pillows, fleece throws, etc. that were perfect for this cold snap at $5 compared to Petsmart cat beds least expensive being around $15 I believe. (I first was in Petsmart then popped in to 5 Below "only" for boxes.) I came out with my boxes and a ton of stuff for the animals. Have kids? I don't buy there's tons of stuff for children, the home, etc all for $5. Very much worth...

Between this Five Below and the one closer to my home, this is the one I prefer. It's a bit larger and has a better selection of items. You get what you pay for (in quality), but you know that going into 5 Below. The inventory tends to be kind of "seasonal", it has better parts of the year where the selection is better and others. Very good location at the intersection of Howard Drive and US 1 in the SE corner of the Plaza. Its location makes it easy to make a quick stop then back on the road without losing much time.The staff is friendly and proficient in English.
