I purchased a sacrificial-ease and two pillows from this location. One of the pillows was not in stock and we were promised that they would have it in by Tuesday.
The initial saleswoman that attended us was great but the rest of the staff is responsible for the rating including the warehouse manager. When we reached out on Tuesday they simply claimed it hadn't come in. Fine, inconvenient but understandable. Today's call was the worst customer service I have ever experienced. When we spoke to the salesperson on duty we asked about the pillow she claimed they had them but they sold out. We asked but why wasn't one reserved as it was already purchased she claimed she wasn't a babysitter of adults! We were confused so we ask if she was referring to us, as she realized what she said she said she meant her co-workers. Seeing as to how this conversation was going we ask to speak to her manager. She told us that they do not have a manager, which perhaps the owner should invest as one because the next statement she made, gave me chills. As we compared the service of other retailers and there standards of operation she told us that they were not Macy's and JCPenny and that perhaps IF WE PURCHASED A BED WE WOULD'VE BEEN TREATED BETTER!!!!!.............. She ended up giving us the warehouse managers number so we can resolve the issue ourselves.
When we called the number we introduced ourselves, instead of being polite he began to get aggressive and raised his voice asking WHO GAVE YOU THIS NUMBER. By then we had enough and snapped back, unfortunately, it took that for him to help us and send the pillow directly to us.
I am truly shocked and I am in the process of submitting a better business bureau complaint.
This is no way to treat a customer. Small purchases when establishing a relationship lead to big purchases. I dropped $700 in one day, did they not think I would eventually purchase a mattress. I will but never from them Stay away if you can buy direct from the site if you must but this...
Read moreOn December 13, 2015 I bought 2 Hale Premium Leather Recliners in the Pinecrest store in Miami. When I bought them they also sold me an extended warranty for 5 years (so the seller said). I paid 598.00 for the two chairs on top of the 7598.00 I paid for them. It just happened that one of my chairs had an issue with the remote cable (2/2019). When I called the company in California, they told me that my chairs had only 2 year warranty and I explained to them. I called the Pinecrest store and they told me to call the seller that was working now at the Coral Gables stores. Why? I called him and he told me to call the company back and if I had a problem to call him back because the warranty was for 5 years. Well, I called and e-mailed them and still they were saying that the chair had only 2 years warranty. I called the person in Coral Gables and he said in was an error from him. Wow! I am now buying the cable which it is 85.00, not bad, but the principle of giving me the erroneous information makes me real upset. The lady, who placed the order, told me after me telling her the whole story that she was sorry but the chair only had three years warranty. Is it 2, 3 or 5? Anyways, I ordered the cable for the remote control because it is a comfortable chair that my spouse uses a lot. Make sure that when buying in these stores they tell you the right information. The Pinecrest store should have taken care of the issue because that is were I bought it but they washed their hands right away. Think carefully when...
Read moreI recently visited Relax the Back in Miami and had the opportunity of working with Mike Urueta. My husband has a bad knee and also had been having back pain in his current recliner which we sarcastically referred to as the "death chair"... it was soft and plush and comfortable to sit in but when you got up you felt like death with aches and pains... We have lived in the area for years, but never visited the store. After recent knee surgery, I decided it was time to get my husband a chair that would help him, not hurt him. Mike was really patient and went through the pros and cons of each chair, discussed our needs, and made recommendations. He didn't pressure us or rush us, answered our questions, and gave us time to discuss the options. We went in for one chair and ended up leaving with a matching set. While their recliners are not the cheapest, they are well made, look great and certainly much "healthier" for you than other options. Delivery was convenient and easy, and we are really enjoying the chairs. I highly recommend Relax the Back and...
