Dillard's — Local services in Panama City

We went in to return a dress I brought that didn’t fit me. We had a lady talk to us while we were looking at pillows afterwards, then we found a cup we wanted to buy but were still looking around. The lady followed us half way across the store into a different section and said she can help us check out the cup, which I’ve worked in retail before and know the tactics of thinking people are stealing. Seems like we were being stereotyped because my husband has tattoos? I told her we can check out but we’re still just shopping around and she said that’s fine she’ll just check us out and we continue shopping afterwards. Then we continued shopping after buying the cup. I tried on an athletic dress and my husband accompanied me like he always does and never had any issues. I needed a different size so my husband went to get one for me and we had an associate tell my husband he couldn’t enter the dressing room since he was a guy and it was only okay for him to just give me clothes. I reviewed Dillards rules for dressing rooms and this incident doesn’t align with there being no gender rules on any dressing rooms. If there’s any rules on this they should be posted in front of the dressing rooms. I recently purchased five dresses from Dillards. I have been shopping for bridesmaid dresses since my engagement on March 10th at many stores, both in-store and online. My wedding is July 27, 2013. I have ordered dresses that have not come in, been material unexpected, and from companies that we could not contact after purchases. This has truly been an exhausting and stressful time. I visited the Panama City Mall branch on Thursday June 13, 2013. I was helped by the most understanding and supportive staff. The ladies, Tracy Pybus-Tate, Nicole Tatum, and Marie Ayers went above and beyond any expectation I have ever had for a shopping experience. Not only did they help me find the perfect dresses, but they were willing to help me physically see the sizes by trying them on for me, call other stores to see if they had them, and locate the rest of the dresses online. I live three hours away, and they were able to not only get them shipped in less than a week, but saved me a trip back by sending them to my home. Their customer service is truly exceptional. I also wanted to praise Ms. Elaine from that store for helping my mother find her dress for my wedding. She has helped my mom for the past few months to find the perfect dress. I went in this location once again for the first time since Hurricane Michael and its extremely nice since they renovated it of course, anyhow I bought some new shorts for work which are Levi’s, unfortunately not denim blue, but cool black ones similar to some American Eagle ones I wore years ago back in Paulding County, Georgia of course, which of course was the Arbor Place Mall location not the one at Pier Park or the former Panama City Mall location, but I am amazed how much bigger this location is compared to the one at Pier Park since me and my family have been shopping at Dillard’s since 1999 at the Arbor Place Mall location which is bigger than this one but selection wise very similar, along with the one at Perimeter Mall and the Forum at Ansley Park in Newnan, Georgia of course, so yes I’ll definitely be back if the Dillard’s at Pier Park don’t have what I want or JCPenney’s at either Pier Park or the one in Panama City Florida in the same plaza as this Dillard’s since the mall is no longer in business of course sadly. 😞 I’ve been coming to this place technically since 2015 back in November but otherwise really didn’t started coming here until...
