Visited during an industry conference and was pleased with what Sands has to offer. While smaller than the LVCC, the experience was better. The climate control system is managed better so you won’t start sweating in the desert heat as the crowd starts to fill in. It’s easy to get to different presentation rooms and the show floor is clean and even the walking paths are carpeted. The staff is helpful, polite and easy going. There are several food options also - some on the same level as the show floor and a lot more as you make your way to the lower level (basement). The food vendors may vary from event to event but during this visit they served good quality and quantity. Of course the food is priced a bit high but that is to be expected. At this lower dining level there is a large seating area to enjoy your meal. You can choose from bar top tables to regular round tables. Plenty of seating on multiple days I visited for lunch. Also because this is attached to the Palazzo and Venetian, you can take a walk over to the food court in the Grand Canal Shoppes for even more food options. Though that can be a long walk. It is also easy to access the building from the street level entrance. Since this place holds a smaller crowd, relatively speaking, I didn’t find long lines at arrival in the morning. Though on a couple of days during late departures, it took a few minutes before my ride could pick me up. But still much quicker than getting in and out of the LVCC.

This place is incredible. The size is just mind-boggling. We were at Shot Show and this was my first time at this venue. They have several food options, including a full food-court on the lower level. The only complaint I have is there didnt seem to be a lot of options for restrooms. The one we found was a one-seater in the middle of the floor and it was pretty dirty. For a venue that regularly hosts 50,000+, I would have thought this would have been better. Maybe we missed them. Otherwise, it was a good experience. Didnt feel like we were there with 65k people! If you get the chance to attend a function there, make sure you just take an Uber. Parking is not a fun option...and you're already going to be walking g a lot. We walked over 7.5 miles in one day!

Spent a week here attending a conference. The convention center is very very large, but well organized with plenty of rooms of various sizes to accommodate massive keynote speeches and small focused gatherings.

The staff serving the conference rooms as well as those serving the conference breakfast and lunches were friendly and on the ball. Food was regularly replenished and the staff was helpful in making sure people were able to find the rooms they needed.

Now, there is one big big downside here and why I rated it as I did – it has way too few bathrooms for the amount of space and people that it serves. There’s only one set of bathrooms on each floor. In between sessions, there would be lines out the door. Which was the other major drawback – access into and out of the bathrooms was through a single narrow door. People exiting and entering would have to take turns as it could support traffic in both directions at once. If there is a needed renovation, it is definitely more and more accessible bathrooms. You’ll probably want to make sure to hit your hotel bathroom before heading into the...
