I called and asked ahead of time to see how much shilac with a design would cost. The lady told me around 15 depending on the design. So I was expecting $20 because I wanted little jewels on my ring finger, and then $5 for tip, all together $25 at the MOST. Well I get in there and tell her I only wanted shilac. She put my hands in warm water for 3 seconds, cut my cuticles off, and and rubbed lotion on my hands for about 5 seconds I don't get my nails done often so I had no idea it would be more for her to rub lotion on my hands for five seconds. Then after she was done I get to the register and she charges me $40!!!!! I was so confused, she said for the cuticle cut and massage it was extra. I asked what massage and she said the lotion. ????? I was pissed. She didn't tell me any of that was extra. She didn't even ask if I wanted it done. I walked in and said shilac only, and got all this extra stuff done that she didn't even tell me. And all the "extra" stuff took her not even a minute to do. If the "hand massage" took longer than 5 seconds, I might have understood. But she ripped me off completely. Won't be going there ever again. I advise you all not to. And not to mention the place is a bit dirty.
Just called the place and I told her I was a bit upset because she didn't make it clear to me that I was receiving a manicure. She said "the cuticle clip, file and massage is 15." I tried explaining to her that I didn't want any of that and wasn't asked, and she only rubbed lotion on my hands for only seconds and called it a massage." And she hair kept repeating herself. Wasn't helpful to me at all, and didn't care about her service obviously. Only wanted money, not to make the customer happy....
Read moreI treated a friend to mani pedis while I was in town, and the nail artist that worked on my friend did a great job, I can't say the same for two artists that serviced me.
I asked for warmer water since the foot bath was room temperature and the technician filled the tub with the hottest possible water and was sarcastic when asking how the temperature was then. She proceeded to rush through my pedicure without trimming any cuticles or dead skin despite ordering the deluxe.
My manicure artist refused to clip my damaged cuticles and did not give me a cuticle treatment. I also had to correct my nail shaping when she walked away. I also did not receive a massage like my friend did.
It was a struggle to get a manager to speak to me about my experience and just sent my manicure tech back over to quickly add oil on my hands.
The hygiene is not great here either. My pedicure tech came out of the back office where a bottle of Raid roch spray is visible to all with chip crumbs on her shirt.
I am so disappointed with the quality, hygiene, and service here. Outside of the one sweet artist that worked on my friend, the level of...
Read moreI went in and got a pedicure and acrylics and was not happy at all with what i paid almost $100 for when it came to the acrylics. The nails themselves were crooked, different length and completely different on each hand. I asked for a simple nail and even had a photo reference. I went along with another friend who also had acrylics and what seemed like a more complex design and she was still done before i was. The employee who started my nails didnt seem to know what he was doing giving the fact that a different employee had to put the acrylic on them and eventually a DIFFERENT employee FINISHED them .Our appointment was at 4, while one of the last layers of gel dried on the nails all the employees were putting on their jackets to close and i had an employee on each hand and even then the nails came out horrendous. So not only did i pay for them but i have to go get...
