I am not usually compelled to write a review but the service from Grocery Girls was so outstanding that I had to compliment them. My husband and I are hosting our 16 year old and 5 of his friends on this trip. We didn't rent a car which we don't usually do and I knew these boys were going to eat a lot!! This is also the Olympics and Super Bowl Sunday Weekend. Grocery Girls has been posting about being short staffed and delays in delivery to certain areas. I filled my cart with over 300 items a week prior to arriving to Park City. After arriving at the house we rented after a long day of travel the groceries were delivered like clockwork in cold bags with cold packs, packed neatly in boxes. No one thing was missing! Not impressed. The order picker (Yanna, as stated on the card left with the groceries) upsized everything. Example: requested regular size bag of Cheetos - they picked the family size. On their ordering site, I never asked for the family size. I felt like they wanted to make the grocery bill as high as possible versus picking up with the client asked for. I asked for macaroni and cheese cups - I got boxes. I asked for Honey Nut Cheerios and I got Almond Crunch Cheerios. I also forgot to order fresh fruit (strawberries and bananas), so I sent them an email to add to my order 3 days in advance. I never got a response from their email and they didn't add them to the order. The fees are also extremely high, they double the cost of the entire bill. I was not impressed. My email to the company .... I actually have to resend my previous praises, as it was prior to my receiving my final invoice. Even though I read through the fees section prior to placing the order, I am shocked and horrified at the charges (service fee, shopping fee, covid fee). It is so sad to be taken advantage of in such a way. If this service was actually affordable we would have used this almost daily. I will state exactly these opinions as well as a copy of our invoice in all of my reviews. Although this service is convenient, it is clearly not affordable for the average family who decides to visit the area.
