Sweet Tea Lounge — Restaurant in Peachtree City

My order was taken with no issue, and the young lady was very kind. Prior to completing my order I had asked her if she had Nutella and she said no (which I understood). She also added that she’s never made an açaí bowl before (not the best choice of words). She proceeded to make the bowl (açaí bowl with strawberries, bananas, almonds, granola, honey & peanut butter) but while preparing the bowl she mentioned she didn’t have bananas, when I asked if they had blueberries she proceeded to say no (only fruits they have listed btw are bananas, strawberries, and blueberries). I was not happy about this but she did make the açaí bowl already so I told her it was ok. I decided to have a taste of the açaí (which was watery and tasted chalky) and it wasn’t the best, so I asked for a full refund and gave the açaí back. I was told by another employee that because it was already made a refund wasn’t possible. The manager was called and the refund was given. I rate this experience a 1star because I think there should be a thorough evaluation on ingredients being in stock before customers go through the hassle I went through. I happened to visit during their grand opening. This location is promising. It has a cute environment and will have furniture once the pandemic ends. I received friendly service. They were willing to answer my questions. The menu needs more photos and item descriptions, so that I will have less questions. It is hard to tell the different between the menu items and a similarity between the names led to confusion with my order. I ordered the summer breeze snow foam drink, but was still charged an extra dollar for snow foam topping. It was not clear why it is listed as a snow foam drink if the foam costs extra the same as any other drink. I attempted to order the mango thunder but was given the mango tango instead. I was not able to understand the difference. I think the mango thunder was supposed to be blended. The mango tea comes with fruit chunks of mango, the other drinks did not come with chunks of fruit. None of this is able to be distinguished from the menu. The boba does not taste like traditional boba. It is not chewy and has more of a firm crunchy bite, like biting fruit. I will give them another try when I am in the area. Hopefully my issues are attributable to first day problems and won't occur...

Not sure what’s happened - new management or owner maybe? But I’ve been 2x in the past month or so and both times my drinks were made incorrectly. Originally asked for the oreo matcha lava w/ lychee jelly and was given a poorly blended ice chunk drink with oreo pieces sprinkled oreo on top (supposed to be mixed in) and the wrong jelly. Them being my favorite I tried again but didn’t want to risk the oreo matcha drink being bad again so asked for a plain matcha tea with lychee jelly. She asked if I wanted strawberry and I explicitly said NO, only lychee please. I get my drink and it’s a mess, not even mixed - just a bunch of the popping boba fruit juice and then matcha on top (it was weirdly separated) and ONCE AGAIN did not get my correct jelly; she added strawberry boba when I explicitly said I didn’t want strawberry. This was the best boba place around but I won’t be returning, I’ve already wasted $30+ on these and there’s no point going to a place like that if they won’t listen to your requests and add-ons. Honestly busted into tears cause this was a special present for me (I rarely get boba) while I’m going through a serious medical issue. Just be aware your drinks will not be made...
