Chicken Salad Chick — Restaurant in Peachtree City

I eat here often and also take coolers of chicken salad and pimento cheese to my family in Nashville. I have been a Chicken Salad Chick fan for several years and traveled to Auburn and the other Atlanta locations until hearing that a store was opening in Peachtree City. I never write reviews. I SHOULD write good reviews more often, so I will start by saying the food at this location is delicious, the restaurant is kept clean, and I enjoy eating here. This morning, however, one of the employees was so rude, I am writing a review so that hopefully, the owners of this franchise will know. I purchased over $90 in chicken salad and before I left the restaurant, I checked through the bags to make sure I had everything. One of the tubs was missing, so I returned to the counter with my receipt to get it. No big deal, mistakes happen. An African American women in a black shirt looked like she was a manager, and wasn't helping anyone at the moment so I approached and explained. She was so RUDE and did not apologize and actually acted as if it was MY fault that the cashier that rang me up forgot to add one of the items. All it would have taken was "Sorry about that!" No big deal. Instead, she begrudgingly tossed the item I had paid for in the bag with a dose of her bad attitude. As we walked through the door we were greeted by a very upbeat staff. The dining room was clean and it was bustling but not loud. Seating was available and so we picked a spot in the center of the restaurant. We added a dessert which was a slice of white chocolate cake. The cake was a bit stale; we should have requested the server give us a slice from the cake that only had 1 slice missing but we were given a slice that was already packed and sitting on the counter. Apart from that - the meal was scrumptious.

Something we noticed that ticked us off. A few patrons had eaten and just got up and left their area strewn with trash and the table still had the utensils and plates on it.

Please remember, when you go in Chicken Salad Chick the dining area is clean please leave it like that. Remove your cutleries, plates, cups and trash and put them in the area designated for them. When another patron comes in and sees this - immediately they begin to think that the restaurant is filthy and no one is checking and cleaning behind the patrons who recently left. The staff is busy serving and someone is always in the dining room cleaning well that’s what I saw. To be honest, if I had walked in after those patrons and saw all that mess I would have immediately turned for the exit. Let’s remember to clean up after ourselves.

The employees make this location! Everyone who works here cares about what they do, and the service and presentation of the food reflects that. Things are done with careful consideration, down to the most minute detail. I always get The Chick with an Olivia’s Old South sandwich (add lettuce and tomato) and a fruit side. Some examples of what I mean by care: the chicken salad is always spread to every corner of the bread. I’ve had it at another location where it’s literally a formed scoop sitting all fat and unwieldy in between the two slices. Here, the lettuce and tomatoes are always super fresh and carefully arranged on the sandwich instead of being tossed on there like you’d throw a jacket on a couch. Half smashed grapes, sad soggy strawberries? Not in these fruit cups. Only the freshest fruit, with a perfectly ripe strawberry slice sitting on top where you can see it. Every👏single 👏time👏.
