I have finally found a care facility that I can trust.

Let me explain: My mom suffers from Alzheimer's and late-stage dementia. Once my father passed away last year it started progressing at a very rapid rate. MY wife and I tried to see to my mother but it just became too much for us to handle with kids, work & covid. So we made the painful decision and originally went with a care facility (name withheld) that we believed would take care of mom. I was wrong and although everyone was charming when I met them, within 2 months they had severely neglected my mother. Dehydration, 3 trips to the ER, bruises, scarring. I understand that was their fault but ultimately chose to send her there so I bear that guilt.

However, I have now have made one of the best decisions of my life by rehoming my mom at Creekside. They are the absolute best. Unparalleled in service. I literally can't say enough about Debbie and her staff. Although some of the damage that was done to my mother prior was now irreversible, Creekside was able to get her weight, appetite, bruises all healed up. This means they are actually seeing my mom every 2-3 hours and moving her.

Such a great, cozy, and friendly community. I had the joy of making a visit last week while I was running around Pearland. I walked in to several staff members offering to assist me while also assisting their residents as they got ready for their monthly birthday celebration. All of the residents looked happy and healthy and excited for the festivities. The staff managed their very “busy” memory care residents with ease and finesse. They really know what they’re doing here. I see LOTS of communities daily. Sure some may be fancier or have that “shiny new penny” feel. But at the end of the day, the way they treat their residents and love on them and treat them like their own family, that’s the real key. This place is doing just that. Autumn Leaves in Pearland is both disgusting and cruel to the elders! I was paying almost $6000 per month and my mom’s body was covered in bruises and the Director Debbie Taylor said it was caused by her meds! She had ants and roaches in her Private room so they moved her out into a room with others and Never told us, Further her hip was broken, but they did not know how it happened, On multiple occasions, she was sent to hospital by ambulance to have stitches on her head and face. No one ever knew how that happened! Her chest was covered in one big solid bruise and steri strips were placed there as well, but NO ONE knew how the bruising occurred nor how the steri strips got there!!!!! Really??? We moved her out and the bruises were all gone in two weeks. She died two weeks after that. Those people put me...
