I believe in giving true experiences. I as a mother who want to thank this office for the help the gave me, to get my child the help needed, to get her the right treament needed for something I had been seeking for the last 6 years. My case was through L.A. county, and they continued to give me numbers that were of no help. I walked into this office, names I'm not good with, but numbers I am. So, the rep at Hub # 40, thank you from the debts of my heart, as well as her supervisor, she rendered help from, in order to get me the help needed. Then at hub, 25, in the back that rep I want to thank you also. The suggestion #40 gave me was that the prayer that was sent was answered for me and for my daughter. As a real mom who recently found out that the issues my child was dealing with not being correctly diagnosed by licensed psychiatrist, therapist for over 7 years, It was seen my the wonderful school therapist via Val Verde school district. 1 day 1 number this office and the staff which helped me my child is now headed in the right direction. They were professional but yet caring. So we say give me my flowers while I can smell them. I give Riverside office here on Redlands Ave. Your flowers. My secret was simple... I checked my attitude at the door, and I gave each the respect by which I myself demand. And I received respect, their ear, and then the help I needed. This comes from a woman known by those who know me... that I will take you there if your actions request me to. My experience was more than 5 stars here at this office. This is a very modern place but the social service workers a doing a dis service to ppl who they deem “non applicable” based on their demeanor and method of operation, I went there to apply for services, it’s fairly easy getting in and applying for their services ( food stamps cash aid) but their process for qualifying or making those applicants eligible is fairly primitive in the respect that after you complete their application they tell you to leave or they say ok that’s it’s we’ll call you in three days ( on a Friday.) my experience there was disappointing and discouraging because they gave me they overall impression that I was not going to receive anything. Sure enough the following wed they called and I missed their call and they automatically rejected my claim for emergency cash aid( they don’t tell you what time they are going to call you.) These ppl called at 430 pm and I missed their call. This is not right because they never offered an appointment by phone or an office appointment( who can really know when they will call you if you have no scheduled time? ) This is what i experienced, their rejection of service letter was lightning fast (I came in 2 day) in fact i received an appointment letter togather with the rejection of claim for benefits, looks very disingenuous and feels discrimination to me. 5/2/2025 there is still someone sending hate mail to my residence from that specific office, this just further elaborated my claim with the Dept of Justice..( one year later there is some one still harassing me from...

If I could give none and still write a review I would. June 6/13/2025 Lady in window b was extremely rude to an older lady that was asking her for help in Spanish she seemed annoyed that the lady didn’t speak English the entire time she was talking down to her and just being condescending to this poor lady I wish I could have helped.

Then unfortunately for me when it was my turned she window B was my person to go to and oh my this lady was annoyed of my questions and treating me extremely rude as well … like Mrs if you dont like your job or working for the people then find yourself an other job .., When I told her she needed to be more respectful and less rude she got offended and got up and walked away, with out resolving my issue mind you it was only 4:14 pm I made it to the office with plenty of time to be helped. But she refused to help me.

2 weeks have passed by since I started requesting help in a matter, no social worker or supervisor has called me back .. why have on your vm they call will be returned within 24-48 hrs ?

I called and requested to speak to a supervisor several times and I have not had any luck with them calling back then they say for us to go in person but the people there tell us to...
