I have shopped at Arhaus for many years always with a good experience, however I recently had an unbelievably amazing customer service experience and I felt the need to publicly review. I was shopping on line with Arhaus during a sale and there was a particular art print i wanted to purchase but had trouble placing it in my cart. I chatted with Anita in web sales support who also wasn’t able to order but she suggested I call. I called and spoke with Anita in web sales who was kind enough to tell me which stores carried the print in my state, and she was also kind enough to extend the sale offer even though it had expired. Anita also provided excellent customer service. Unfortunately the store that did carry it was in Perrysburg, Ohio, quite a driving distance from me. I did contact the Perrysburg store and spoke with Ashley who did have the art piece i wanted and she agreed to also honor the sale and ship the item to me. However, since they don’t normally ship items directly from their store and since this was a clearance item, it couldn’t be ordered. Therefore, they did not have boxes appropriate for shipping this large item. Ashley, however, took it upon herself to personally shop around for a box, and during her non-working hours! I’m happy to say my print is being shipped today! Ashley definitely went above and beyond and provided extra-ordinary customer service, and always very pleasant when I spoke with her. Ashley is quite an asset to Arhaus and is the perfect example of exemplary customer service. I will be certain to place all my future Arhaus purchases through Ashley and the Perrysburg store. Read moreI have never written a review before but I feel it is necessary. I ordered furniture Jan. 16th from the Perrysburg store. We were told since the pieces weren't in stock it would take 4-6 weeks for it to arrive. When we paid for the furniture, we were then told it could take 6-8 weeks. We still went ahead and made the purchase and signed all the disclosures. We thought another two weeks would be ok. Eight weeks passed. No phone call. No furniture. So, I called the sales manager and she told me that the fabric we chose was out of stock and there was a delay. So, in the eight weeks since we paid for the furniture in full, nothing has been done for our pieces of furniture. We have been living in our house for over two months and have no living room furniture. When my husband called the corporate office, they told him that we signed a bunch of disclosures and it says there could be delays due to fabric or deliveries. They have had our $5500 for over two months now and aren't willing to refund so we can get furniture in our house. They aren't willing to do anything to make it right. They have said too bad. You signed disclosures. I have bought a lot of things and signed paperwork so I understand companies protecting themselves. This company does NOT value the customer though. In fact, now they are telling me the earliest our furniture could be delivered is April 2nd. They also said that date is unlikely. So at the earliest, if we are lucky, we will have furniture after 11 weeks. We have three small kids and are home a great deal. Please be aware of this company. They do not honor their verbal word. This should be zero stars. I am writing to detail out a complaint my wife (Breanna) and myself have with Arhaus Furniture through an online order. We placed order #106992214 in mid-March 2022 in the amount of $4,105.61 and the money was taken out of our account on 3/21/22 with an understanding the table would be delivered in July 2022. We were given a date of 7/15/22 but had not received any further correspondence. We called early July to confirm the table was still going to be set to delivery and the customer service rep confirmed the date. My wife and I took the day off to ensure the delivery process went smooth from our side. No call and no show. We proceeded to call customer service and was told it would be delayed a couple of weeks but no specific date. We called back in two weeks to follow up on the revised delivery date and was then told it would not be delivered until October with no real explanation. They cannot even tell us where the table is. Their resolution was to offer us a cancelation after we have been waiting for long which was not acceptable.
Not only has Arhaus kept our money for going on 7 months their service, communication and any sense of accountability has been the worst experience we have ever encountered. They were not truthful in giving us information with multiple delivery dates nor have we received any follow up calls or communications.
