OUR DOG DIED in PUPS PARADISE PERRYSBURG LESS THAT 24 HOURS AFTER BEING DROPPED OFF IN THEIR FACILITY. Our experience was the WORST you could possibly imagine. I had to leave Nala, our dog boarding on June 5th at the end of the afternoon because I had a trip to Florida. First I had to take her the week before to do a retest test of temperament because she hadnât been boarded there for a couple of years . I flew on June 6th to Miami . When I landed at 11:20 am I received a text from Maya , a worker , saying they had an emergency with Nala . When I called her she explained that Nala was bit for another dog during the time the dogs came from outside . She told me she DIED on her . But anyway they took my dog to the nearest hospital . I couldnât process anything at that time . I called my 2 daughters that live in other states and my husband who was working in other state too . The oldest of my daughters asked about the video of the moment . It was HEARTBREAKING to watch that . You just see a bunch of big dogs . Mine was a 12 years 5,5 lb long hair Chihuahua . I thought it was the wrong video because I couldnât see her until the last part of the video that you can see the big dogs started to moving apart and some of them were sniffing something on the floor . That SOMETHING is my dog NALA DEAD . Just 2 workers there . And it was just at that time when one them realized Nala was there . You asked yourself. What was Nala doing in the middle of such big dogs . Nobody was paying attention to her . She was always in her room , even for eating . Because she never played with dogs . I even ordered 3 sessions of one on one cuddling for to make her felt like she was at home . This incident itâs the most negligent thing in the world . NALA SHOULDNâT BE DEAD . Our family is devastated . 3 of 4 had to flight back to be with her before she wouldâve been cremated . I never ever expected that I wasnât going to see her again in my whole life .,None of us imagine such a tragic death for our beloved Nala . And the WORST PART they werenât sure what happened with Nala , what was the dog who bit her . Totally unacceptable. Because for us Nala was family , our loved doggie . You are thinking theyâre in the best hands . And it wasnât . We donât pursue money at all because ANY MONEY is going to bring her back . But we wanted to warn the people about what happened to us . Weâre trying to to avoid this horrible episode to happen to anybody else . I wrote a warning about this sad episode in the local page of our city . And just after that Pups Paradise Perrysburg wrote about the incident saying after watching the video , talking with the personnel of the facility . In that moment they check ob the protocols about taking big dogs with small dogs . For me thatâs so ridiculous . You have a dog business and you gave to wait the death of one of them to realize you have to do the basic that is assure the well being of all your dogs . Itâs unbelievable that you donât use common sense and NEVER EVER mix a 5,5 lb with dogs that are 3, 4 , 5 times her weight . Itâs unethical. Sorry I canât understand this episode . Shame on your business and your...

I can't say enough good things about Pups Paradise Doggy Daycare and Boarding. My two dogs, Gretchen and Cooper, have stayed at many different boarding facilities due to my love for traveling, but this one truly stands out as the best. Their service is nothing short of extraordinary.
From the moment I walked in, I could feel the warmth and professionalism of the staff. They genuinely love what they do and treat every dog like family. They are incredibly friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable, and they take the time to get to know each dogâs unique personality and needs. Itâs clear they have a deep passion for animals.
What impressed me the most was their attention to detail. They meticulously track each dogâs daily eating and bathroom habits, which is such a thoughtful and professional touch. As a pet owner, this gave me immense peace of mind, knowing that Gretchen and Cooper were not only being cared for but also being monitored closely for any changes in their routine.
The facility itself is clean, spacious, and well-organized, with plenty of room for dogs to play, rest, and feel comfortable. They ensure every dog gets ample attention, love, and care, whether it's during playtime or while settling in for the night. I could tell that Gretchen and Cooper were truly happy and relaxed during their stay.
Compared to other places Iâve tried, Pups Paradise goes above and beyond in every way. Theyâve set a new standard for doggy daycare and boarding, and I wouldnât trust my fur babies anywhere else. If youâre looking for a place where your dogs will be treated like royalty, look no further!
Thank you to the amazing team at Pups Paradise for giving Gretchen and Cooper such a wonderful experience. Youâve earned a customer for life! Highly,...
Read moreMy poor Midas has giardia at only 5 months old. I have 2 other dogs who thankfully do not have it. All of my dogs go the same places and are exposed to the same things. The only difference was that I occasionally took Midas to Pups Paradise in Perrysburg. Midas has never once tried to eat any feces so we were very shocked to find he has giardia. Midas loved his daycare and I loved it too. On Wednesday July 17th Midas spent 8 hours at Pups Paradise. They did not tell us if had diarrhea that day but as soon as he got home he had very bad diarrhea with blood in it multiple times. The next day I took him to the vet and he tested positive for giardia. I immediately got my other dogs tested and they were both negative. My vet notified Pups Paradise of the findings and I thought I might get an email from them or see a Facebook post that one of the dogs had it but I have yet to see that. I called Pups Paradise and talked to the assistant manager who told me giardia isn't that big of a deal and they do not need to warn other owners of that since it was only one confirmed case. She said they didn't want to make owners worry for no reason. Well I'm sorry but if it were the other way around I would like to know my dog spent a whole day with a dog who had an illness like giardia! I know Midas could have gotten this from anywhere and I am not blaming them for him catching this but I do think it's wrong of them to not make other owners aware. Also, I called another Perrysburg dog daycare (who happened to be a little cheaper) and they said they definitely let other owners know when something like that is going around, even if it is just one dog. So needless to say, Midas will not be going back to...
