I recently had the pleasure of purchasing my latest sneakers from this Dicks location, and I was pleasantly surprised by the outstanding customer service that I received. Not only was I treated with respect and courtesy, the service I received was impressionable. The young man that brought my shoes out, to try on, ran circles around myself and the other guests as we shopped confidently. I couldn’t believe the level of energy he had, and just how quickly he brought out and put away shoes that we all were interested in. He was able to do all this, all while managing to give me his personal opinion on a few fashion and comfort tips. Thanks to his, and the other service worker’s expertise, I was able to choose a pair of shoes with in no time.

Then when I arrived at the register to purchase my shoes, I was happily greeted by the cashier, and furthermore shown, why it was in my best interest to shop at Dicks for my shoes, verses Fleet Feet in Round Rock; where I was barely greeted and, furthermore treated as though I was not valued as a potential customer. Little did they know, after my now 3rd experience at Fleet Feet, I was sure that I was NOT going to spend my hard-earned money there. None the less, for my very 1st time shopping at Dicks, I was very happy with my shopping experience and would highly recommend buying your next pair of kicks here. We placed an order on Friday around 4:50 pm my mom went in to pick up the order about an hour and half later because on the website it states that order takes about an hour to fulfill. When she went in they told her it wasn’t ready and that she would have to come back once we got an email confirming order was ready for pick up. I never even got an email confirmation about said order. They then proceeded to have her order ready 10 minutes after she left the building which is ridiculous. She went to pick up the order today and the shoes were dirty soles and all even the laces clearly they had been worn before and returned. If they got upset because she went in to pick up her order early even though hey charged her immediately for the product and they didn’t have it ready they should not retaliate that way as if it’s her fault or she’s an inconvenience to them, it was a horrible experience overall. Didn’t even try to find a solution they didn’t even really talk or acknowledge her she called me to tell me the situation while it was happening told her to tell them to refund her the money and make sure they gave her a receipt. She needed to go get her card for the return and the guy helping her walks to the door to watch her for whatever reason making her really uncomfortable mind you a return hadn’t been processed yet and she was on the phone with me.
