Update to my prior review: Dudeâs Boutique has FINALLY refunded my order after over 3 months of hassle. To be fair to them, I want to acknowledge that they did refund the order, but this customer service experience has been the worst I have ever experienced. I followed the instructions for returns on their website to-the-letter, including paying over $100 to ship the shoes back to them within the 14-day return period (this was during the Christmas season, so to ensure that the shoes returned to them in this tight timeline, the shipping was very expensive!) I received confirmation that the shoes were delivered back to the storeâŚand then radio silence. When I reached out to them via email: no response. When I called them: no answer and the voicemail wasnât set up. It wasnât until I filed a dispute with my bank and left the below review that I heard back from them. They seemed to be most concerned that I delete my review, they reassured me I would be refunded but my refund wasnât processed for more than two months after they finally got in contact with me. The shoes were returned to their store by UPS on December 16, 2024, and my refund posted today March 25, 2025. Never again. I would not recommend doing business with this store unless you are CERTAIN that you will not need to return or exchange your item. Perhaps their storefront experience is much better, but they very clearly have not figured out how to responsibly handle online returns.
Original review:THIS STORE APPEARS TO BE A SCAM. I ordered a pair of expensive loafers for my husband for Christmas. The shoes arrived, but were too small. I returned them per the store's return policy, and received confirmation from UPS that the shoes were returned to them. Since that time I have not received a notice of pending refund, a refund, or any communication from the store that they received the return. I have contacted them via email twice with no response. I have contacted them via phone and am directly sent to voicemail and then receive an automated message that their voicemail is full. Looks like a scam, I would not order online...

Had to call the boutique and inquire about my refund and never acknowgded they received the item back. Luckily for me I returned it via USPS signature conformation and Priority Mail. Was notified by USPS they did sign and receive package. Called and spoke with person who said I would be hearing from returns department soon. NO call. I contacted American Express and filed a dispute to which I was credited my full refund back. Suddenly boutique is calling me asking me why I did a charge-back - they were giving me a store credit. I did not ask for a store credit and nowhere on there site does it say store credit for their 14 day return policy. Then they asked me to cancel charge-back and they would send me refund and a store credit. NOW they want to communicate and make deals after ignoring me initially. American Express made me whole ($$$) and is penalizing them for lack of good faith / customer service and their return policy. Called me again today and asked me for email so they could explain why they want to cancel charge-back.. why because AMEX is penalizing them as I noted. How do I apply a store credit to future purchases if I know nothing about the credit and your website does not support it??? I want nothing to do with this boutique and will not shop or support it. They mark up the prices to make it seem as though they are giving you a deal and then set the supposed discount which is technically the original price of The item so theyâre not doing you any favors or âhooking you upâ. My boyfriend and I have been here numerous times as customers. My boyfriend ordered a shearling jacket from them that was custom made only to be told that the jacket would be ready at a certain time, we waited for months to get a real Response. Then these people told us that the manufacturer didnât have the material and the coat couldnât be made after months of waiting and putting down 50% of the purchase price. The end result was my boyfriend picking the same coat from the rack and color he didnât want only to told that the balance was higher than what he expected. After I finished threatening to Yelp which I am going to do they acted like they had some sense and we paid the balance due. Also I just found out that they have businesses make some of their coats and out on another brands name. Donât go here go elsewhere, they may seem cool but theyâre not, they are for themselves!
