😩 Two stars instead of 1 because of my previous experiences with Ivy! I have always had an amazing experience with Ivy—she has literally done the best nails I’ve ever had in my life! Because of that, I’ve budgeted to get my nails done once a month, and I was really looking forward to my appointment. Unfortunately, this time was extremely disappointing. Since Ivy was on vacation, I had to see another technician. I asked for a dip powder set on my natural nails with a cat eye design on top. Normally, this service costs $85—$60 for the dip and $25 extra for the cat eye. However, the experience quickly turned frustrating. The technician started with the dip base, but instead of applying a dip color next, she skipped that step and went straight to the cat eye. This left my natural nail bed visible, which was not what I requested. I politely reminded her that dip color needed to be applied before the cat eye, and from there, things got worse. Rather than using dip powder for the color as I asked, she grabbed a gel polish instead. I told her again that I did not want gel because it doesn’t last with my daily cleaning routine, which is why I specifically get dip. She insisted she couldn’t do the dip color at that time (without any explanation) and proceeded anyway. At that point, I made it clear that I no longer wanted the cat eye design since I wasn’t getting what I originally requested. Despite this, she still painted my pinky with the cat eye to try and convince me, and I had to tell her again that I did not want it. When I went to check out, she charged me $75—$60 for the dip base and an additional $15 for the gel polish she applied instead of the dip color I asked for. I was shocked, as what she did is normally just $40 for a gel manicure, meaning I was overcharged for a service I did not want. I questioned the price, but at that point, I didn’t want to cause a scene and just paid. To make things worse, she then asked for a tip! I refused, explaining this was not what I asked for at all. Another nail tech stepped in and confirmed my complaint, but unfortunately, the damage was already done. I feel completely taken advantage of and will not be returning after this experience. It’s disappointing because I’ve had such great service from Ivy in the past, but after this, I no longer feel comfortable coming back.

Beautiful job! The design exactly as I asked and perfect shape for my fingers.

Unfortunately I did not have a good experience with this salon. I got a full set of GelX nails and 3 nails popped off within a week of getting them done. I’ve been getting GelX for years and have never had a single nail pop off like that before. When I went in for the third time in a week to get yet another nail fixed, I asked if they could do anything for me since I paid $125 for a set that was holding up like cheap press ons. They said it was ā€œoddā€ that the nails had popped off like that but I would just have to keep coming back to get them fixed. I was trying to be very understanding, but I was upset that they wouldn’t even offer a discount on my next set. $125 and I’m back in the salon 3 times in one week? I don’t have time for that & it’s doing double the damage to my natural nails underneath. I’m sad that the closest salon to my place offering GelX did such a poor job & did not own the mistake. I’ve been looking for a good salon since I moved to the area & this one unfortunately is not it.

Would give negative stars if I could. WORST experience ever!!! Would not recommend to come here if you are of color. I came here to get my nails done for my birthday. A simple French manicure with orange polish instead of white. I showed them a picture and wanted them to advise me on the best way to achieve this look. I asked for a duck shape and they made it seem like it was too much to do so I opted for a more simple square. The technician then starts to do Acrylic on my nails. The shapes were sloppy, uneven and he even gave me a crooked nail. He then tells me midway that he can’t do the color I asked for because it won’t show, even though I had it already done on my toes and showed him a picture of what I wanted. He then tells me I can only do plain color which is not what I asked for. I sat for 3 hours and left with a pasty polished, uneven nails for my birthday and still made me pay. Highly upset. They refused to give me a refund until I called the manager. They claimed they would re-do it, I come all the way from Jersey the next day on my birthday to have them fixed. They said it would be an extra $50 to fix. I refused and asked for my money back and they just took all the nails off. Left with no manicure and a basic pedicure that cost me over $140. The worst customer service I’ve ever seen in my life and the most inexperienced nail technicians that will overcharge you for everything. I will not be back ever and I highly do not recommend if you have a special event you are...

The place is beautiful. Very, very clean, staff is friendly and accommodating. They are a little pricey, but I didn’t mind with the place being so nice and the polite staff. I’ve been twice. First time was for a pedicure and dipping powder. The pedicure was amazing, however I had a nail break the following the day. I went back and it was fixed for free. I decided to try this place again, because I really appreciated them fixing their mistake and again the pedicure was out of this world!! Staff was super polite and really took their time with my services which was a pedicure and dipping powder once again. I left for vacation the following day and 2 of my nails broke!! They snapped right in half causing me to bleed. I’ve been getting SNS for YEARS and have never experienced this. It’s like the dipping powder here is extremely thin and not durable whatsoever. I told them the last time it broke I needed either more dipping or maybe there is another bonder they could use because the application was extremely thin. I’m very disappointed this keeps happening because the place and staff are amazing. I was so excited thinking I found my new nail salon, but this isn’t worth having my nails...
