On our seventh date, my sweetheart and I set off in search of Ursa Bakery in East Falls Farmers Market. This was my second time observing my sweetheart in action at a bakery. He is lavish in his pursuit of bread and pastries, justifying it by calling it "supporting the arts." I can get on board with that. Everything we tried from Ursa's was delicious. This is a small farmers market, but it is always reliable. You have various types of vendors, fruit and vegetable, honey, baked items, hand crafted sewing/knitting, coffee, music, lunch items, dog items, etc. There are steady vendors and there are some that rotate throughout the season. This market is year round and Saturdays 10am-1pm, rain or shine. The market moves back to 11am from Dec through April. There is parking right at the market but you can walk too.
