Today I learned two things. One: apparently there are real adults who actually exist who will pay someone to give their small child a facial. Two: for wanting to create a relaxing atmosphere, this place certainly employs some rude and uptight people. A friend booked three "little facial" appointments, which she came across on the online bookings page. Because we are average folks who work and spend most of our money on rent and not on things like $6k bags and manicures for our cats, we just were not aware that facials for children, who typically have pretty perfect skin and are also, as I said, children, were a thing. We just figured these were short facials that a few peasants like us could enjoy. Honest mistake. However, the friend who booked the three appointments was never given clarification that these facials were for second graders when she spoke to someone from the spa on the phone. But okay, things happen. What didn't have to happen was the icy response by the receptionist to the situation at hand when three adult women showed up for appointments. She essentially looked at us like the plebs we probably are and threw up her hands, saying there was nothing she could do. Her attitude was totally off-putting and embarrassing to us. She didn't even offer to accommodate us with a new booking on a different day. She just wanted us out of there because I guess we looked too broke to bother with, unlike the Gucci-wearing primary school students to whom she is accustomed. In conclusion, people who pay for facials for children aged 6-12 could simply set their money on fire instead and I won't be making any trips back to this place until I rise in the caste system in...

Went to Eviama life spa after an initial visit about five years ago that had been spectacular. This visit however did not live up to the last one. Our services were cut short as they claimed we were late. However, it was the receptionist checking us in who had a difficult client before us , which caused our appointments to start late. They needed us to fill out paperwork and didn’t realize that we were even scheduled for a third service that we also need to fill out more paperwork for. So Lateness was not our issue, it was theirs. We had a pedikarma massage service and it was a complete joke. Ended up being a uneventful five minutes or so soaking in a little bowl of water followed by a little bit of rubbing on your feet with a wand. Not a luxurious service. Certainly not worth the hundred dollars that we paid for it. The couples room was not set up for two services to be done and one of us had to lean against the massage table to even reached the water bowl for our feet. It was a pathetic experience. When the salon was confronted with the issues that we had had they choose to blame us , the customer, and for our misunderstanding what the service entailed. The hip hooray massage was another expensive service that was not a masage at all... just pushing on pressure points. Even though I asked for a partial refund of just one of the services as we loved our facials, they chose to not do anything ...not even apologize. They did not own to the problem at all. Not a salon or spa I would ever choose to go back to. What a shame. So after spending $1700 for services they chose to do nothing about our disappointments. Amazing lack of...
