Iāve never been to the Moon + Arrow boutique in Philadelphia (as I live thousands of miles away out of state) but I ordered something online from their site and just need to tell everyone how wonderful this place is. First off, that was the fastest shipping ever. Obviously, with shipping, a lot of this depends on the postal service but the shop mustāve sent the item immediately and I really appreciate the effort involved in that. I wouldāve been impressed with that alone, but when I opened the box, the shop surprised me with a beautifully gift wrapped item, complete with the detail of a pretty feather. I seriously felt the exceptional customer service through how nicely and beautifully everything was packaged. I didnāt even request gift wrap. They took it upon themselves to go above and beyond and add in those pretty details ājust becauseā. When I went to return a coffee mug FOR STORE CREDIT that retailed for $30 I was told returns were not accepted for items purchased before Christmas after 1/7/21. Of the 12 available days to return anything the store was closed for 4 of them and had limited hours during the rest of the week. I understand no cash refunds but the ātough luckā response from a local business just seems like the inverse of why I like to shop small. :/
I understand it is a hard time right now but sadly this lack of any type of customer service is not appealing. It took just as much time to drive here to return this item for store credit as it does to spend money each time I come. I truly hope someone sees this and rectifies this situation so I can continue confidently shopping small.

Seems to me like they just don't want to put in any effort to help a neighbor. Which is their right, but totally leaves a bad taste in my mouth.
