I came in here 2 nights ago to do an exchange for a bra I purchased online. When I walked in the sales associate that assisted me was helpful in looking for sizes for me. She explained that the size I needed they didn't have in stores and I could order it and have it shipped to me. I then proceeded to the register on the VS side and noone was there. I waited about 30 seconds and then walked around to see if I could find an associate. I walked over to the Pink side where 2 associates were having a personal conversation. So the 1 associate sees the item in my hand and says "VS side" so I'm like ok and the 2nd associate follows behind me with a nasty facial expression and attitude. When we get to the register she doesn't say anything to me so I hand her the bra and explain I was looking to do an exchange. She still hasn't said anything to me and takes the bra and then the new one to get the sku and types it into the computer. She then informed me that the bra I was looking to purchase was not taking any in store orders and I could try online. So I told her I would take my original bra bag which she unpacked with an attitude. I was still polite during the whole exchange. I took my item and left. Now a few things...I was very pleasant and never disrespectful so the fact that the associate had an attitude because they had to stop a personal conversation to assist a customer is beyond me. Even during the exchange no hello, how are you, I'm sorry the item didn't work out for you. I worked in retail for years and would have bought into the office and coached on how to interact with customers. Now I'm African American myself and so were the 2 sale associates and I'm wondering if I was White would I have gotten the same response. To leave 1 side of the store to go talk to another associate and have an attitude that you have to come back to your side to actually assists customers is beyond me and lacks professionalism. I will go to KOP in the future if I want to shop at Victoria SSecret. This incident happened at the Liberty Place in Philadelphia on Chestnut St. The only helpful associate was the first young lady when I walked in...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThe employee at the front (I'm not sure her name sadly) and the manager were both extremely helpful and sweet when figuring out how to apply a 30% discount for members. In the end, we figured it out!
HOWEVER: the woman working the cashier in a pink velour outfit (supposedly named T? Tee? According to her, at least-- receipt says Cashier 3768858, unsure if that means anything) was pretty rude and continuously rolled her eyes and sighed at me despite me being as polite as possible. As if it was somehow my fault she couldn't figure out how to apply a discount that ALL members should get today...?
Oh, and here's the strangest bit: after I asked her about the discount (and by this point the manager had already assured me I could apply it), "Tee" just asked me if I want to pay with debit or credit as if nothing was wrong. I answered because I assumed she had figured out the coupon, only for her to try to charge me full price. Hello? š Who in their right mind is just going to pay an extra $60 for no reason when it should be discounted? I had to go BACK to the manager, again, and she got the coupon through. "Tee" did nothing but be rude and unhelpful.
Anyway, like I said, it was an overall positive experience, but the cashier truly did sour it. I've worked retail before and I would have been concerned about getting scolded by my manager or even fired for acting like...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis store is total bs. I was put in an awful place because clearly they need better organization. I looked at one of their signs and it said buy 1 pajama SET get 1 free, so naturally of course my sister and I each picked out a set, but as soon as we were going up to pay the women at the counter rang us up acting in a very unprofessional manor. I paid in cash then as I was standing at the register while she was bagging I was looking at the receipt and it said my total was 144 dollars. This did not make any sense the sets were each 54.50 and I also bought a bra on sale for 35.00. Since this sale was buy 1 get 1 free (or so I thought) I should have paid a total of 89.50, I went ahead and paid the 145 dollars. As Iām heading out there is a worker who I was speaking to about this whole misunderstanding, and she did absolutely nothing! That women also went ahead and accused me of stealing the bra even after viewing my receipt! The women also treated me awfully (my sisters and I are young) and I am super pissed. She said that the sale was clearly visible and that I just mis-read them. I know I did not, they were totally unclear and I lost total respect! On my way home I had my friend call the store and they did nothing to help, hopefully I can go to my nearby mall and try to have them speak to that manager. I will never be returning, and I recommend none of...
