I got my piercings with Courtnee and a haircut with Autumn!

I love the environment at Arcane Hair Parlour. Visually, it’s a stunning place with a cool gothic environment that I love. Socially, everyone here is very friendly and professional. Checking in is always seamless and easy, and I’m always welcomed inside and greeted by staff.

I got a haircut with Autumn recently and had a specific look/idea I was going for. I’ve always been hesitant about getting haircuts as I’ve had bad experiences in the past with other salons, but Autumn executed my idea so well and even a month later my haircut still looks just as good and feels so much better than where it was! I’d honestly trust anyone here with my hair and will be coming back in the future. I prefer an edgier look so it has been difficult in the past to achieve a certain haircut at other salons, but I’m always satisfied when I leave this salon

Courtnee has done 6 of my ear piercings so far and each process has been so smooth and precise. I went in for an ear design consultation, and from there we were able to curate a cool concept and book my piercing appointments. Courtnee was very informative and is always fun to talk to when I go in. I love the jewelry they have to offer and always get compliments on my earrings when I’m out and about. I just got two helix piercings done today, and I’m so excited to come back to get four more done in the future!

I’ve recommended this spot to a few friends and will keep doing so in the future. I love that they’re located downtown, it’s close to home AND located in a convenient spot if you’d want to find something to do after having an appointment here, you could totally make a fun day...

I love this salon! I decided to go shorter with my style and had recently moved into the area. The salon itself has a fantastic vibe. You are regularly greeted by multiple people upon entering. I am always impressed by the way the team works together and the customers interact with each other. I found that really comforting and fun. It’s also a very safe place for anyone.

My stylist is Cortnee and she is magic with her razor and shears. I am a former stylist and I am always pleased with her cuts and color. She is very knowledgeable and listens. She will try to accommodate my wishes and if there is a chance that the style may not be appropriate for my hair type, she will tell me. I always leave feeling like I was heard and I have a haircut that I’m able to maintain easily with her instruction and excellent cutting ability. My short cut grows out beautifully and I receive compliments regularly.

You can not go wrong with this salon. I have only been to Cortnee but the stylists around her are also amazing. I have watched some amazing transformations! Shout out to Chatham and Carly, who are both so much fun and so kind. Brandy does a great job with scheduling. I also appreciate the owner, Erika, for having such a warm and welcoming salon.

I highly recommend them. I’m also visually impressed and require extra help getting around. It has never been a problem and every need...

Although I had a couple of decent experiences here in the past, I left my last appointment feeling really dejected... :(

With some special events for me coming up, I came in and asked for a little trim (and showed the stylist that I'd like it around the red line in the photo). I was shocked to discover that over DOUBLE the amount that I asked for was cut! I went from having hair that went down to my chest to hair that barely reached my shoulders. I even mentioned during the cut that I hated having shoulder-length hair because of my hair's curl pattern, and a couple of times that it was looking a little bit short.

Furthermore, after the cut was done, the stylist told me to come up to the front whenever I was ready, but left me there without blowing any of the hair off of me -- so I had hair all over my pants, shoes, and some on my shoulders and the back of my shirt :(

That said, the cut itself (especially the bangs) is not bad, it just does not suit me at all and is difficult for me to manage with my hair type/curl pattern. Also, the stylist was also very kind and I really enjoyed...
