Local First Arizona — Attraction in Phoenix

I am so grateful for Local First Arizona. I attended their virtual restaurant bootcamp in 2022 and started my own juice delivery business, Heal With Juice, for individuals with compromised immune systems.

Although I have completed the restaurant bootcamp, the best part of Local First Arizona are the MENTORS! Local First Arizona has provided me with one-on-one mentors that have helped me with the many aspects of owning a business! My mentors have expertise in the areas that I need the most, such as website building, taxes, recipe building, getting into farmer's markets, etc.

I don't feel like I am alone in my business although technically I am because I don't have employees. Becoming a member of Local First Arizona was the best thing I could have done for me and my juice business. I love the perks of Local First Arizona! I know that I can call on and rely on my mentors at Local First Arizona! I like knowing that there is a local organization who has my back, championing me and my success from the sidelines!

I am so thankful for my Local First Mentors: Gabe, Leslie, Jose, Sophia, Marcus, Amelia! They helped (and continue to help) make my journey to business entrepreneur less rocky and so attainable!

I recently completed the 6 week retail boot camp with Sophia L thru Local First Arizona and I have to say if you run a business, you don't want to miss an opportunity to learn from her. It was amazing to have an instructor that is a local social media influencer. It wasn't just theory on how social media can work in your favor as a business owner, her expertise taught us how to leverage social media platforms to grow our businesses. At the end of the day whether you own a service, retail and e commerce, manufacturing etc, style business, we are all trying to sell something.
