Came in for dinner Saturday night with my son. Been wanting to try it since I stumbled upon it a couple months ago while walking around the area. I'm a chef here in Phoenix and something about the ambiance made me think that it was going to be very special. They did not disappoint. The layout is well done considering the small size of the place. Over all very inviting. I felt like I was in someone's home as much as I was in a restaurant which makes sense considering this place is family owned/operated. The Indian programming and Bollywood films on the TV's were a pleasant accompaniment to the food and service. Roshith was our server. He was very attentive and pleasant. He answered any questions we had about the food. We had 2 appetizers, the vegetable samosa and gol gappa. The samosas were delicious and beautifully presented. But it was the gol gappa that were REALLY good. We also had 2 entrees. 1 goat curry, and 1 lamb curry. Both came with basmati rice that was perfectly cooked. Everything was perfectly seasoned and spiced. All in all the whole experience was more than I could've asked for. Come to find out this place has only been open for 3 months. I could go on and on about this the things I enjoyed about this restaurant, but some things are best left for one's own discovery. So if you like Indian food, I strongly recommend this place. They deserve your business. We...

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Aroma India while on a business trip with my family, and I cannot express enough how this place touched our hearts. Missing the comfort of home-cooked meals, we decided to try Aroma India, and from the very first bite, it was like being transported back home.
The flavors were authentic, rich, and perfectly balanced—each dish was a celebration of Indian culinary art. The attention to detail in their cooking truly reflects the love and passion they have for serving amazing food.
We were so impressed that we decided to visit the restaurant in person, and it was even better than our first experience! The staff welcomed us with warmth and kindness, making us feel right at home. Their hospitality was as memorable as the food itself. My family was equally delighted, and it was such a joy to see everyone relishing the meal and enjoying the interaction with the staff.
Aroma India is not just a restaurant; it’s an experience of comfort, authenticity, and heart. Thank you for making us feel at home and for giving us such a wonderful memory to cherish. Wishing you all the success in your journey, and we look forward to dining with you again. Keep spreading love through your food!

Read moreI am sharing more in my experience and situation. The food was fairly decent and, in all honesty. Heres where I have the problem. I walked up, and there was just a single person standing in the front entrance area. I start to walk up, and as he is on his phone, he starts to walk into the back. After waiting for a few minutes. He comes back, and i tell him i want to sit outside. As I looked over the menu, i asked him what the difference between the lamb curry and lamb biryani. He tells me to get the curry because if some dip with nan bread. Really it was very hard to understand. The food was good as stated. When I got my bill. I was a bit shocked that somehow I got charged nearly $30 for a $16 meal. The waiter, whom, i thought, said the nam came with that meal, charged me $5 extra. Now, here is the really funny part. He also charged me an auto gratuity if 20% as well. I confronted the server about the issues and he just kept saying that I didnt need to tip and i just needed to pay him. Finally after still being charged wrong, i just ended up paying and leaving. Be cautious with your bill when you get...
