I echo what others say about disorganization. It takes a long time to get items like coffee or off the menu. The coffee tasted great which means you have a great bean. One thing to watch is consistency in latte art. These reviews are loaded with beautiful lattes and none of the drinks looked like that today. The food from the pastry case on the other hand was awful. The cinnamon roll had a weird butter frosting. It was really disappointing considering I had been waiting a while to come and this was the quality was. I love trying local coffee shops like Lux, Berdena’s, mythical, serafina. I am a manager for a massive chain but I avoid getting coffee from chains as I look for coffee with an amazing quality bean and taste after living in Europe for so many years. I went to culinary school for pastries so food taste and appeal are so important to me as a deciding factor of whether I would want to return. The pastries missed the mark. I had the acai bowl and I feel like it needs a change. We know the cost of granola is expensive but this bowl had so much on the bottom and so much on top. I would simplify this and only put it as a topping but a small amount. Putting the focus back on the acai. Price was right for the bowl. One of the things I witnessed in terms of operation was so many people waiting for drinks and there was just tons of blank cups with nothing associated with them. Either they need to mark the cups or make sure they are printing a receipt and each order is space and following clearly. One couple standing for awhile said we are waiting on blah blah and she barista goes oh yea I think I have that here. You wanted light ice right. They said no. She goes I swear I heard someone say that. Clearly if someone said it it was not this couple. Another thing it just takes a few moments for the person who is handling the POS to connect guests and say here is the number for your food it will be brought to your table when ready. Your drinks will be ready at the bar for pick up just be listening for your order. Several people had this confusion because the barista continued to call the same drinks over and over because the people were outside waiting. Every single order was like this. I didn’t have a chance to try out the lunch menu but some people around us did and it looked good. At the end of this it felt like it was just a college cafe that with a little turn around in the issues could be elevated because the coffee I...

I was searching the streets for a quick lunch and a decent tea. Now I don't know how to address the person at the register, Barista/Cashier, but they were very personable. Someone would say overly friendly but I can dig it. Ordered the Moroccan mint iced tea and the Breakfast Burrito.

One personal preference of mine is cooling down the tea before pouring over ice. The ice melts rapidly which I've had other coffee shops do to me all the time. It's a pet peeve of mine but it doesn't make sense to ask for extra ice afterwards cause your cup is full to the max. Not the end of the world. I like the fact they have agave and simple syrup for sweetness.

I was taking a chance on the breakfast burrito specially when it had cream cheese and a lot going on. Don't get me wrong, it was delicious but too sweet for me. Sweet and Savory sometimes works but not a fan of this one. Of course I wasn't going to not finish it because I was raised not to waste food. Vibe is pretty chill and most definitely a place to catch up on some work.

Adding the space for your customers needs some TLC. I know times are tough right now, and all industries are feeling it, so I don’t want to be to harsh.

Overall, huge selection on the menu and I wouldn't mind giving it another try minus the burrito. Nitro Cold Brew is on the...

Phenomenal vibes. Friendly workers/owners. Decent drink. Love the colors and the open space. Even in quarantine (2020 COVID-19) the place felt like there were a decent bit of people in there, yet a lot of available spots to sit! WiFi and outlets throughout. Owner is a pretty cool dude, friendly and seems to like talking to people which I love (I’ve been 3 times). The other dude who wasn’t Australian was super nice as well. But on my third visit, there was a gal at the register who seemed rather annoyed that I wanted “light ice light milk” and that my buddy wanted to know what beans and syrups they use. It was kinda off-putting. The drinks are decent. I always disclaim my drink opinion with the fact that I am rather “third wave,” meaning I dig super specialty/artisanal/craft espresso, and this didn’t super feel to be that way; little more generic. But for the people they serve, that’s totally acceptable (mostly college students given the location). They serve food which I unfortunately did not get to try, we just stopped for drink.

Again though, if you’re looking to get some work done at a bright and vibey place,...

The Fillmore Coffee located at the Fillmore street. An classic independent type of coffee place, the environment is absolutely chilling, you literally should come here on Sunday morning and spend all the rest of your AM here. 😉 Will strongly recommend that you order their "flights", which you can pick and choose 4 (out of their 13) types of coffees, and Fillmore will serve those 4 coffees in shot glasses 🥃🥃🥃🥃, on a wooden plate. Definitely an interesting way to appreciate the variety of their coffee selections. Last but not the least, have to order their burrito, serve along with their homemade salsa, it will be the most delicious and healthiest one you've ever had ! 👌

This place is excellent!! I saw varying reviews online but I decided to try it for myself. I’m always indecisive when it comes to ordering coffee, but this place offers a caffeine flight with 4 different coffee options — which was perfect for me. I ordered a vanilla latte, mocha, cold brew, and a caramel macchiato, all iced. Their strong coffee flavors shined through in every drink, which I loved. The atmosphere is simple yet cozy, and has plenty of seating options. As others gave mentioned, there can be a slight wait time for drink orders but I probably waited 10 min max. All I all, I was very pleased with my experience at Fillmore Coffee Co. and will definitely return!
