Sprouts Farmers Market — Local services in Phoenix

I was racially profiled at this location today. I’ve always enjoyed shopping at sprouts, it’s usually so peaceful. I decided to try out this location and everything was fine until I noticed the staff/secret shoppers following me and checking on me way too many times, disturbing my shopping experience. I was fed up when one of the staff, Monique, came up to me and said “someone from up there sent me to come check on you” it was very unsettling. Then she lingered in the aisle glancing at me and after she left another one of the staff came in the aisle. I noticed every aisle I went to an employee would come and linger, not actually stocking or doing anything. I was only there a total of 25min, I’ve never been “checked on” that many times in any store. While I was checking out at the lanes, Monique came and asked the cashier to bag my stuff then began talking to her about other customers she was watching and how she “never forgets a face” and accusing other innocent shoppers of stealing, all POC. I’m a young black woman shopping alone, this location made me feel extremely uncomfortable and unsafe. I will not be...

I have visited this store many times! I'm very grateful they put a Sprouts in Avondale. I have received excellent service with questions and product availability (including fresh Filets, fish and beef) at this location. It seems to have a large turnover of staff however, everyone has been able to answer my questions and the manager the last 2 months during every visit has asked me face to face how my visit has been. I appreciate that professional customer service. You do not see that too often anymore.

I give this store a 9/10. The Brussels sprouts need to be fresher and more mature when selling... they're bitter... and I think the Bre Cheese selections are...

They don't deserve "1" star! They are EXTREMELY racist here. I've been TWICE and they have stared me down from the moment I walk in, every aisle, ESP WHEN I PAY, then leave. It grinds my gears so bad to have waited for a Sprouts near my home only to be treated so disrespectfully. ALL PEOPLE OF COLOR DO "NOT" STEAL. Let us shop & breathe in peace. The first time was bad I vowed I wouldn't go back but the 2nd time I had to because of time...it was the exact same.
