was my first time in this place and it wasn't what I expected, I ordered some nachos and they were miserably served, only the tortilla chips and very little meat and nothing more.also, I ordered some toastitos and the vegetables were fermented. The cucumber and tomatoes weren't fresh. The worst of this experience was with a couple of icecream cones that I bought for my children, The ice cream looked bad in the refrigerator. It was very melted, I didn't like the look but my children insisted that they wanted some. I tasted it and it had an unpleasant taste. I think the temperature of the refrigerator affected the flavor. I didn't think it was fair to pay for an ice cream that was in bad condition and I told the girl that took my order, But instead of solving something for me, she didn't go out anymore and sent someone else to deliver the rest of my order. They must be careful with the temperatures of the refrigerators if health department realizes this for sure it closes the plce someone can get sick. For eating food in bad condition I will never return to this place, maybe I'm being rude but this is...

I ordered Carne asada fries for my son who said the best part were the crinkle fries. He ate the food but is not interested in repeating the experience. I also ordered a dulce churro for a child I babysit, he loved it! It would be easy to discount his opinion since he's a child but he's a fairy picky child, the treat looked absolutely amazing!! Lastly, I bought the strawberries in cream for my mom but I think she forgot them in the fridge and they went bad. I suspect they would've been good. The 3 treats plus tip came up to like $45. Not an establishment I plan on visiting frequently, but if/when I do go again, I'll definitely order the...
Read moreStopped in for lunch today at Fruitlandia, a chain of restaurants and snack shops in the Phoenix, Arizona area that specialize in fresh fruit-based desserts, such as raspados (shaved ice), fresas con crema (strawberries with cream), macedonias (fruit salads), and various fruit and ice cream drinks. The establishments also offer savory Mexican food, including items like Sonoran hot dogs, carne asada fries, and ceviche, serving a combination of sweet and savory. My wife tried the Sonoran dogs combo with fries and a drink for $8.49. I selected the ceviche tostada; both were excellent. The ceviche was the bomb and a deal at $7.50. We have to go back to try some of the raspados and...
