Searching for the right coin shop can be a daunting task but after reading several reviews online about Phoenixville Coin and Jewelry Exchange, I was very very satisfied by the visit. My situation was going in there with some foreign currency, coins, some gold jewelry and vintage casino chips. I was in a financial crisis and was struck of in need of some cash. Adam's exchange was the best, beyond exceptional. The first time I went in there, James, his employee, inspected all what I had to offer and paid me top dollar right on the spot within minutes. I was even surprised that they took my vintage casino chip set. Again I have to say I am very greatful for such a wonderful visit with Adam, he is a very generous good hearted person that will consider every factor of your personal situation to help you out. I cannot figure this place out. I stopped by about a month ago, at around 4, when they had to close early (4:30 instead of the usual 5). I left having put aside a number of things I wanted, and left my contact information with them so they could get things moving by pricing them.

They never attempted to contact me back. About a month later -- last week -- I stopped by again, at 3:45. They were closed with no explanation. So this past Sunday, I called, left a message, and told them I would probably be by this weekend.

I went back today -- Saturday -- at 2:15 and once again found them closed without explanation. I won't be trying a fourth time.

I don't understand why this business is regularly closed during hours they say they're open, and don't understand why they're ghosting me when I wanted to buy a bunch of things from them. I'm sure they're fine people to deal with -- assuming you can get actually get a...

This is a great place to sell your gold and silver coins! I had called and left a message after hours that I had some American Silver Eagle coins I was looking to sell and get some more information about the process and the owner Adam returned my call the following morning and answered all my questions. I really appreciate that he was able to explain everything with me over the phone so that I knew what to expect before making the drive. When I was there, Adam was very polite and professional and, most importantly, I was given a fair price for my coins which was the best price offered compared to the other shops locally I had called.
