Honestly I don't have time to say ALL the wonderful things about Soltane... but I'll try to hit a few!

Soltane offers delicious specialty brews in a huge variation for unbeatable prices. You can get a cold brew, pourover, standard coffee, espresso, hot tea, iced tea, kombucha... pretty much anything! The coffee is all Direct Trade and organic, and everything else is locally grown/made, and the flavors are all incredible mixes that I wouldn't think of--everything tastes absolutely delicious, fresh, and natural--which is is. The low and easy prices include tax and tip (more on that momentarily), and any additional tips are donated to local causes. Soltane employs people with disabilities as part of their lifesharing support model and pays them well above a normal cafe rate as to not rely on tips--hence their ability to donate all tips. Everything is handmade with care, one at a time. Even the cafe atmosphere itself is nice, quiet, and exactly what you'd desire at a coffee shop.

To be honest, like I said, these are just SOME of the wonderful things about Soltane. If this isn't your regular, please...

Looming large was the prospect of mediocre coffee from quickie-marts. My necessary java-jolt demanded an exploration of local independent cafes and eateries. Soltane Bridges Café & Bakery on Bridge Street (the 'Ville's main drag) was my first discovery. I promptly became a fixture and was introduced to its many intriguing qualities. The unique vibe, diverse patrons, specialty lattes (and other drink concoctions), bread loaves from the Green Lion bakery and exceptional in-house, made-from-scratch baked goods had me at first visit. Croissants, scones, cookies, pies … the list is as long as the glass case behind from which they beckon.

Soltane's signature coffee is the brand known as Counter Culture. Presently, I'm sipping their "Iridescent" winter blend with berry, chocolate, and sweet tasting notes. Bring your own mug and receive a 75-cent discount! However, don't even think of ordering a tall, grande, or venti-sized cuppa unless you're prepared to elicit barely suppressed giggles followed by polite...

This place is awesome! Trust me, you'll love it. They have outdoor seating, including an adorable semi-secluded patio with a table and chairs, as well as plenty more seating inside. The place feels artsy cute, I'm from San Diego, CA and it feels like home. It's so nice to see the active support and promotion of all abilities working, living, and playing together. The staff was super friendly and helpful. They took the time to enthusiastically answer all of my annoying questions. Now the tasty part: They make their own pastries in-house, which is surprising considering the large variety they offer. I had to buy a few because they looked so good. They tasted EVEN BETTER than they looked. I would highly recommend the blondie and scone. They even make their own syrups, the hazelnut was bomb in my iced latte and it complimented my treats very well. Overall great food, great vibe, great staff, and...

A little gem at the heart of Phoenixville, PA. I was in search of a good cup of coffee in the morning. A google search turned up a few options in town. I checked out a few of them before settling on Soltane. It is a unique, inviting, and fun coffee shop. The staff were friendly and knew what they were doing. They explained the two available roasts that were brewed for that day with simple details. I settled on Rwanda. It was a delicious cup of coffee. Had an enjoyable time at the cafe. Went back there for the next two days I was in town. Will stop by again when I am back in town.
