I had Curt (the owner) as a teacher in high school, and I remember then he always said he wanted to open up a record store. He was an awesome teacher, but it always seemed like he was more passionate about music than anything else.

Flash forward to now and it’s safe to say that he has one of the better record stores in the area! Some shops you go in and they could care less you’re there to spend money. Curt is always happy to see someone walk through that door and is always excited to help find what you’re looking for and then some. There was a record store there before the record shop opened and the current store is a thousand times better than the one prior.

He’s constantly posting new arrivals and he’s even a licensed retailer of record store day releases! There’s also shows and events that this store is affiliated with that will never make it a boring shop!

Top notch Record store. I live in Europe and every country and city I go to I try to find a local record store. The Record Shop is one of the best ones I have been to. So it is safe to say, for me at least, this is the one of the best record stores in the world. Great selection of records and meticulously cared for. I bought a Savatage record that was pressed in 1985 and I can't believe the excellent condition it was in. In addtion, the owner was super friendly, knowledgeable and passionate.
