With Bridge Street being generally closed over the weekends, some places on Bridge Street are easier to get to than others and Sedona is one of those places that is more easily accessible. It is right at one end of Bridge St., close to the intersection with Starr St., and one can park in the free parking lots right next to the restaurant. And so, driven in part by that consideration, my wife, 6 year old daughter, and I found ourselves here for brunch on an August Sunday afternoon. First the positives: 1. Food: The food itself was very good. I had the desert fire omelette. This is how the description reads: "House made bacon wrapped jalapeños stuffed with four different cheeses, chilled lime cilantro sauce, fresh pico, avocado. Breakfast potatoes." Yummy, right? That's what I thought as well and it turned out to be an excellent choice. It was among the best omelettes I have had in a long while. I would note though that this was pretty spicy and even as someone of Indian origin who likes hot food, I found myself gulping down water a fair bit. My wife, who tried some from my plate, also had the same reaction after her few bites. Next, in terms of food, my wife had the hot honey chicken biscuit. She liked it but she said that portions of the buttermilk biscuits were too heavily doused in honey, so she happily avoided those parts and let me have them instead. She found it had a milder flavor profile compared to my omelette. Having had both, I would agree. Nonetheless, it was a solid dish. My daughter - a more cautious eater - went with her tried and tested chicken tenders and well, they were as most tenders go. They did come with honey mustard sauce and ketchup and that's good because increasingly I have noticed places charging you for honey mustard (DON'T DO THAT!) Last but not the least, we had the apple tart. It came with ice cream and the tart, but particularly the ice cream, was simply delicious. 2. Service: Also very good in addition to the taste of the food itself, was the service. Our server, Ashley, had a great cheery disposition and she was quick to refill our waters on multiple occasions - something I surely needed. **Now a few reasons to take off a star:** 1. The food came out much later than we would have liked. There was easily a 25-minute wait between placing our orders and the food coming out and some of us at the table were starting to get hangry. Did we really need a 25-minute wait for chicken tenders? 2. The Sunday brunch menu that both my wife and I ordered from were not available in printed form but only online. More problematically, the server was unsure of where we would get the Sunday brunch menu. She looked at the additional menu that was clipped on a board but that just turned out to be the drafts list. 3. The table where we were seated at was sticky. We requested someone to clean it up but even after that had been done, it still continued to be more than a bit sticky. My wife found that unpleasant and yes, truth be told, it would have been more pleasant and comfortable for all of us if the table had been cleaned more carefully. So those are just some observations for which I think the restaurant merits a 4-star as opposed to 5. We have been here earlier on a few occasions and in general, that's been my experience - very good but not necessarily in the best of the best. I personally like Black Lab Bistro a tad more than Sedona. For those of you familiar with Iron Hill Brewery (and are lamenting the fact that IHB Phoenixville closed some time ago), you can certainly give Sedona Taphouse a consideration. They would compare very well with IHB and you might find Sedona having a slightly more upscale feel. Overall, a nice spot in our neighborhood that is worth trying despite some service hiccups.

We picked a beautiful Sunday evening to dine outdoors at Sedona. Located on a busy strip in Phoenixville this restaurant feels similar to a spot we would go to in center city Philadelphia, but even better we didn't have to drive far or look hard to find parking. Because it was a warm evening the parking lot was packed and the streets swarmed with people taking a evening stroll. The restaurant accepts reservations but also informed us that with smaller parties walk-ins are just fine. We had our choice of seating indoor, outdoor or outdoors in their enclosed space which is what we chose. Because it was outdoors and enclosed sound really echoed and that included the barking of fury customers dining with their owners. It wasn't terrible but made it difficult to catch up with friends. But we didn't want to make a fuss and ask for different seating so we made do. The menu options are plentiful each sounds better than the next and the same with their drink menu. It was so hard to choose but we decided to split appetizers going with the Southwest Roasted wings that were so flavorful with a little hint of a spice and a South Rim Shrimp flatbread it had shrimp, mozzarella, Parmesan, fresh pico, avocado and cilantro and it was superb that was our wild card item. To drink I ordered from their special menu and had a Raspberry truffle martini and for dinner a 7oz filet seasoned and cooked to perfection. This restaurant is a new favorite and I love the location. It's great for a girls night out, date night, happy hour, etc. I highly recommend this restaurant

Every weekend, Bridge Street closes off and creates a welcoming environment for people to stroll up and down and enjoy the summer atmosphere. Three of us came here early afternoon and then later again for dinner. Our daytime visit consisted of sitting at the bar and having to choose a beer from the long list of breweries. Eventually one of us ordered a beer, another a margarita and another a sangria. Now a note on sangrias in America - they really are the best I’ve ever tried across the globe. The blend of wine, brandy, cinnamon, triple sec, ice and fruit (and whatever else is added) makes for a refreshing afternoon drink. Very happy reviewer here. Our waitress, Rebecca was so sweet and knew exactly when to ask if we’d like another drink. Thank you Rebecca. Six of us returned for dinner around 7pm. Sedona’s was pleasantly full of diners. We all had a variety of entrees and main courses. From ordering to placing on the table, the meals came swiftly and cooked perfectly. The nachos were enormous and it took all of us to pick away at it until our main courses arrived. All our main meals were a generous portion size. The taste and texture of each meal blended nicely. We all agreed that the food and service made the night a special one. Note: disabled friendly. Indoor or outdoor dining. High chairs available. Dietaries catered for, just speak to staff. Kids menu available. Dogs allowed. Take away food containers available if you don’t get through all your meal. Highly recommend.

Let me tell you about my family's experience with the Sonoma Taphouse, at least when it comes to take out. First, the online ordering experience is very good. After selecting an item, they offer you about 10 different allergies to select so they can properly accommodate your order. Ordering is simple and easy. We placed our order around 5:10 pm on a Saturday night for a 5:45 pick up. We ordered the Seaside Pasta, a gluten free South Rim shrimp flatbread, and Acapulco fish tacos. To the taco order, we added a pulled pork taco, shrimp taco and a steak taco with a side of fries. We live about a 20 minute drive away from the restaurant. A few minutes before my order was ready, they called to inform me that one of the tacos I selected was not available, and potentially one of the others and asked how I would like to substitute them. While I appreciated the call, I was attempting to navigate downtown Phoenixville on a Saturday night. I informed them I was only a few minutes away and we could discuss it when I arrived. After finally finding parking and walking in at 5:55, I explained who I was and that we needed to sort out the substitution. I spoke with the manager, and we agreed to substitute 1 taco. Everything else was ready. Ok, no problem. At approximately 6:15 I spoke with the manager again about an update and demonstrated that the taco order was now cold. He agreed and went to the kitchen to have it re-made. I then waited until 6:25 for my taco order to be completed. 30 minutes for what should have been 1 taco. The manager ended up bringing out a container of my taco order. By now I was fuming and explained to him everything I've listed above. He apologized for the misunderstanding and offered me compensation for my next visit. I declined the gift card and went home with my order. After the 20 minute drive home, I was astounded to find not only was the flatbread cold, but we only received 4! of the 6 tacos we ordered and no side of fries. I called the restaurant immediately and explained the findings. I spoke with another manager and she apologized and offered to refund the flatbread and taco order. While I was still very upset, I did appreciate the gesture. As for the food, the Seaside Pasta had a grand total of 2 scallops and 3 shrimp and was little more than the size of a side order (for $25). The fish tacos tasted fine but were cold. The steak in the tacos were seasoned really as were the crispy shrimp. These probably would have been better if dining in and right out of the kitchen. To their credit, about a half hour after we finished eating, we received an email from another manager: "We are sorry about the confusion on our part about your order. We have reversed the entire amount of your purchase today and are sending you this $50 coupon. We have resolved the issue online so we can't make this mistake again. Thank you for your business and we hope to see you back soon." This is a mixed bag of experiences with many positives and negatives to walk away with. The ordering experience is good, the atmosphere for dine-in seemed good. The menu has some options that sound good. The food quality/value was mediocre at best. Some of the staff was helpful, understanding and accommodating. Unfortunately, based on our experience we cannot entertain going back or offer it as a recommendation to anyone. All of this over ultimately the...

This place is happening! Lots of people on a Thursday night. Our server, Austin, was on point. Just attentive enough and showed up at just the right times and never forgot anything we had asked for. The food was incredible. The truffle fries were perfect, served with some sort of Hollandaise, and ketchup too. They had just the right amount of truffle oil and Parmesan. The scallops appetizer my husband ordered as his main course was fantastic, sun-dried tomatoes gave them a brightness that is an unusual combination, it it really worked. We also ordered the bread basket. The breads were a fabulous soft type of ciabatta-like type of rolls that were dele table to pull apart and dip into the Mediterranean seasoned oil or we could slather on the honey butter that was served with them as well. Then we moved on to the 8oz flat iron steak I ordered as my main course. I ordered it medium well, and that was the temperature it was served at. It had a nice grilled slight smokiness that came through and just a little pink still visible, exactly how I expected it. The sides I selected l were Brussels sprouts and asparagus, they were both well done and flavorful although they had a little more heat from black or red pepper than I cared for, but my hubby loved them. I had a prickly pear sangria that just hit the spot! I love prickly pear! My husband ordered a flight of beers and he liked them all. Then came dessert! We had an apple tart with vanilla ice cream and caramel drizzle over it. We were quite surprised and delighted that the apple tart tasted smoky, just a hint of grilled smokiness! It was wonderfully delicious and unexpected! We also shared the cheesecake that has caramel that tasted like a Werther’s caramel candy! The cheesecake was just perfect. Not too wet and just dry enough and creamy! Oh my it was incredible! My husband finished with a French press decaf coffee and I polished off my water. I’m a very happy customer! To think that we were invited to Sedona’s soft opening years ago by the general manager. They have done just fine establishing themselves in Phoenixville as a destination not just another restaurant. They have a winning combination of food, drinks, great staff and location. Sad to see their competition go belly up, but there quality of their competitor has slipped a lot and the public demanded better! We were heard loud and clear and Sedona Taphouse listened and gave us exactly...
