International Hair Design — Local services in Pinellas Park

I have been going to IHD for the last couple of years. After my stylist of 20+ years retired, I was worried about where to go. After a recommendation from a friend, I thought I would check them out. I can say Teresa is amazing. I have had her do all kinds of styles/colors/highlights etc. I have never been disappointed. Everything she does is great.

I get lots of compliments from people I do not even know. They stop me to ask where I get my hair done and by who. Always having the nicest things to say. To be honest I am not sure my hair has ever gotten that kind of attention before. Always had good cuts etc. but there is something special about what Teresa does. It is also nice that she loves what she does. Which is evident when you watch her work.

I do from time to time go into see one of the other stylists that works there, if I can't get in with Teresa. They have all done a fantastic job. They are great to work with. Very friendly and make you feel right at home. Always listening to do my hair how I would like but also giving suggestions if they feel something else is needed. I have never been disappointed in any of their work or their suggestions.

The location is easy to get to. The environment is very inviting. I highly recommend International Hair Design, Teresa and her team. I did recently see my previous stylist and she loved my hair and said "Don't leave where your going EVER!" I can't think of a higher compliment. Give IHD a try I know you will be...

I can’t say enough positive things about my experience with International Hair Design.

I have not had good luck with finding a salon that I feel listened to, or one that won’t rush me through with not great results.

From the start, Libby was accommodating and helpful with my booking.

I was a little skeptical at first because I had to secure my spot with a deposit. I understand the reasoning, as people will cancel at the drop of a hat with no qualms, and I am not one of those folks, so I didn’t have a problem as it went towards my service. Do not let this deter you from booking.

And what an excellent decision! Theresa and the entire staff are knowledgeable, highly skilled, friendly, and communicative.

The results were incredible! My hair was dull (Florida water & chlorine) and the treatment she initially used on my hair is a miracle product.

From there I received highlights and a toner, then another treatment. I could actually feel the difference. My hair has never felt so good.

They styled my hair with curls (I have very straight, fine hair) and the curls stayed in for 3 days!!! In this humidity!

They are magicians. My hair looks fantastic. Feels fantastic. I’ve gotten many compliments, feel younger and fresher, and am blonde again!

Highly recommend if you want a true customer service focused, individualized hair service....

I am new to Florida and don’t have a personal salon yet so I was nervous . I booked an appointment with Tyra to get my short perm/ fade on side . I walked in and the owner Teresa greeted me ,and was very warming and friendly! She offered me a drink, and a snack while I waited and during my perm. Tyra was welcoming and so sweet as well ! She took time to listen to what I wanted in my perm . She took her time and didn’t rush, and the outcome I couldn’t be more pleased with! I definitely am returning as a hopefully long time client ! I went back less than a week later to get a manicure and my nails done ! The Nail Tech was Alesha and she was so fun and was a great person to converse with ! She did a wonderful job on my nails as it was my first time and I couldn’t be happier with the results! Alesha was vocally excited to have some who loves fun colors ! She is planning to buy new colors for me ! I had to go back to get my nails touched up only because one of the colors used wasn’t doing good with my nails but offered to fix them at no charge and the outcome of the touch-up I am really pleased with ! I am so excited I found this fine salon establishment , and meet wonderful group of ladies! If I could give 10 stars I would !! Already booked me next...
